Great Video! Tatsuki Fujimoto has a real legacy already. It's really cool to see.

There are many influential mangakas other than Akira Toriyama(who's just the most popularly known). There are artists like Go Nagai, Takano Fumiko etc who have way more wider influence. They are artist's artist and more on that line Tatsuki Fujimoto already has a legacy, every new work seems to want ro imitate him. Having said that his influence is not about popularity but in how he experiments with the form & creates spaces for artistic expression including queer expression through his own work and propping up art of other artists on his twitter and in interviews. So as readers we should diversify our engagement with art too. Fujimoto's own influences lies in the alternate experimental mangas of garo & AX.

I feel like its not a good idea to try and compare artists like this. Toriyama can do things that fujimoto can't. And fujimoto can do things that toriyama can't. There will never be another toriyama and there will never be another fujimoto, because they are both very different. Even in the way they inspire other artists
