Honestly, the success of RM is not so much on the program or themes, it's on the individual characters whose TV personas have become relatable and likeable to viewers. In other words, RM's strength is its members, whose personalities allow them to be humble enough to ridicule themselves for the sake of entertainment. Each would go out of their ways to bring laughs to viewers. This is what's missing from RB. The members look quite stiff as characters, no apparent initiative to relax in front of the camera to be entertaining. When they try to be entertaining, it comes off as overacted, makes me cringe, sorry. I might be ignorant, but is cultural?
