Thunder Rolls and Papa Loved Mama got geeked by Garth. I didn't want to risk three strikes so I took them all down. I may post one more of his but I'm wary of doing his stuff. Unlike most of the artists on this channel, he doesn't care that no profit is gained by this channel doing these videos. In fact, it promotes the artists and music that some people either never have heard before or haven't heard in a long time. Or there just wasn't a good video for the song. Like Good Directions by Billy Currington. But that doesn't seem to matter when it comes to his music. We'll see what happens with this video but I'm not holding my breath on any material with Garth's name attached to it.

Jeff Cook was a great musician but isn't considered among the best ever. There was a lot of pride in being an American in those days. These days not so much. We could all learn a lesson from this song. Seems like we have forgotten who we are.

When I was deejaying in the 90's, people often said I resembled him. Although I'm quite a bit taller. I never saw the likeness myself except maybe how we carried ourselves. His first album was a classic start to finish. He brought a sound to country music that it was sorely lacking at the time. There isn't much he has put out that I haven't liked. Walker released it as a single and it climbed to #68 on the charts. But nobody can do it better than ETC in my opinion. Conley belted out a lot of good hits. Covering his songs is like covering George's. It will never be as good as the original. Thanks for watching!
