The Roquette - An Arugula Gimlet - Garden Cocktails
Put that gimlet down and get a little funky by adding some arugula to it!
That's right, add a little spice and a bright, vibrant green to your cocktail. Then walk around and enjoy all the people that ask you what you ordered and if they can try a sip!
Fresh arugula pulled from the garden paired with Cap Rock Gin creates the Roquette. A crips, clean cocktail that tastes great.

Join me as I show you why I use (and like) the Breville juicer press. I know a lot of bartenders out there are wondering if there is a better way than how they are juicing their citrus than how they are right now. Plus, this is a great piece of equipment to have in the home in if you like to entertain your guests with craft cocktails. Let's go! website: garden-cocktails.com/ instagram: instagra...

"Prehistoric stoneage time"? You miss an important point in these manual nut-cracker style presses. They also press out the aromatic oils. Of course the fruits should never be treated and you need to clean them before pressing. But for cocktails you want the citrus oils. If you just want to get a lot of juice, of course that automatic press is a huge advantage. I just ordered one. But i'll still use my manual presses when it comes to cocktails.

Good review, brother. Looks like you're pressing the lime with your hand? Does the lever not press for you? Anyway, I definitely hope to buy one of these soon for cocktail making. You sold me on it! Cheers!

It actually had a cup attached to the lever presses it down but reviews say it sort of doesn’t last forever? That cup is plastic not stainless steel. Google an image of this and you’ll see that

*This is the BEST kitchen machine=>>**allmy.tips/BrevillePress?ㅏ ** I have purchased in years!!! All the parts are made very well. I make freshly squeezed orange juice every morning before the household sleepers arise. No one even hears this machine. I hand clean the parts after every morning use. It says they are dishwasher proof, but we use the machine daily and only run the dishwasher every 3 days, so I don't mind hand washing. My hands are arthritic, so this machine is the best ever. Very little pressure needed to push down on the orange. Don't wait, buy it now. You'll love it!*

I think your Breville is a 800 not 600. This is actually better because the 600 has the plastic dome though

I have the same Breville. Average home use; It worked for six months. Slowly broke down. The arm bolts came out, I fixed the springs 2x and now the arm doesn't spring back, it blocks easy access to placing and removing the fruit. Don't waste your money. These companies are a huge reason why Earth is becoming so polluted. All the material to make this thing to work for six months to go to the landfill????

So we shouldn't buy this machine based on your one bad experience? What about the review on Amazon where the guy said he has used this for years without any problems? Should we buy the machine based on his one good review? The problem is taking one review and using that as a basis for buying or not buying the machine. Out of 2,200 reviews, 91% of users on Amazon gave this a four or five star review so if the machine is only fit for landfill why are these 91% of people saying it's good? Something doesn't add up here and I would say that your one single review isn't enough of a data pool to give a reliable assessment. You can't argue with statistics but I'm sure you will try to.......... 🙄

@Garden Cocktails The way you fix this is by putting your video through a process called a "Levelator" It makes all aspects of your video the same level do the -16 LUF's setting, that's the standard. You'll also want a lapel or lavaliere microphone for videos like this. It clips on your shirt and goes into a pocket recorder like a zoom. You clap in the intro of your video to align the audio with the video in production. You just line it up with the clap. You can also do it at the end of the video too if you're a perfectionist. You can use the cheap JK MIC-J 044 microphone. It's great.

Where's the cap for the fruit? The upper armature has a socket. You can see it in the video. There is a magnetized cap that fits there and hold the fruit in place. It runs it down to a one-handed juicing operation. One hand juices, the other swaps the halves in and out.
