If you camp be prepared to be packed up by 1pm even though checkout is 3pm. The hosts are jerks, and many people were upset! There is tent camping non-electric, very few sites on the water like maybe 3 or 4. The restrooms are nasty on the inside, and do not expect a warm shower at all but ice cold. The food is awful at restaurant but the plus side they have beer and ice cream... the boat launch is always busy and there is no parking spots for boat trailers due to a zillion people renting kayaks! Comlara Park is the best with Clinton Lake being second

I live in the area I drive by there about 5 days a week I don't have a camper lake is beautiful I do not realize those campsites for so expensive lol 💰. In this video is 3 years ago. $80,000 for a nice camper and it cost you $25 maybe $30 a night . No thank you I'll stick with the regular vacation in the $85 regular hotel room .

Hello just started following you. So would you recommend this campground? Spots look pretty close togather. We are thinking of go to the national park but not sure where to stay.

My favorite ones are #9-10-26 and30. Love that campground and Ortona lock.

Going down there for the 3rd time since 2017 this week. Kayaking and trail rides. Winery in Oakwood is a great place.

I have stayed there before. Last weekend. We are staying there again next weekend. This is 30 minutes from my house. All of my kids have sites rented as well. They offer half price to veterans and people 62 or over.

The lake level is low because of two things, first in Arkansas we have very dry summers and second, Blakely mountain dam is a hydroelectric dam generating power mostly year round.

We stayed there last year, stayed in the Illini loop. Had a great time.
