Goemon is such an underrated franchise, most SNES games didn't leave japan and its real a shame. The second N64 game we got, Goemon's Great Adventure, is one of the few sidescrollers on the console and it has aged pretty well. One of the best games on the platform.

OK lets do this, grab a drink and buckle up. First off, lets state the boundaries of the debate. The idea is to create a Sinister Six team using villains from the DC universe. It seems as though you all chose Batman to be the hero to fight the Sinister Six picks, however you never stated that in the premise. _______Hokie Joker picks_______ *GOOD PICKS:* 🟣Luthor & Hush as co-lead is a good idea. A well connected genius money man and a man on the ground leading the team against a foe he has studied at length. 🟠Deathstroke. All around solid choice for a team like this. 😵‍💫Top. This is the type of pick I like to see! Thinking about how the characters powers will work as a team, having a character not so powerful or famous that they should be taking on the hero solo, therefore working in a team makes way more sense. I personally would have went with Count Vertigo for a more powerful version of the same powerset, but the choice was solid! *QUESTIONABLE:* 🟡Sinestro is a bit odd for a pick, as his level of power is WAY above the others. The Sinister Six was composed of city level threats, and Sinestro is easily planet level or higher. His powers not only make Solomon Grundy redundant, but also kinda trivialize everyone else on the team. Sinestro should be able to 1v1 Bats. 🪦Solomon Grundy. Not so much questionable or bad, but he feels like filler. Who needs muscle when you have a power ring? *BAD PICKS:* None...Good Job! _______Green Lantern Picks_______ *GOOD PICKS:* 🟣Luthor. Same as before, Luthor is a good leader. 🟠Deathstroke. Fits the motif, works for money, makes sense. *QUESTIONABLE PICKS:* 🟡Sinestro. Again, Sinestro fails to fit into the Sinester Six Motif of being a city level team going against a city level hero. He just feels out of place and overpowered in this scenario. 🦍Gorilla Grodd. While having been a member of the Legion of Doom, it kinda makes sense as he would be in the loop with villains from all over the world, making powerful connections. However I have a hard time picturing him joining a Sinister Six type of team. Seems out of character for him. Luthor and Sinestro are both Leader type villiains, Grodd, a self proclaimed king, with an army no less, would not want to play the teams #3 at best.(out of six) *BAD PICKS:* 🔴Darkseid. Not in this universe or any other would the New God Darkseid, Lord of Apokolips, The Anti-Life God, chase down a mortal human man on earth while taking orders or directions from another mortal human man? You dont summon Darkseid to do your bidding, thats not how he works! Completely ignoring how out of character that would be and disregarding the countless slaves, soldiers and parademons at his disposal, lets assume he does join! Now what? Its now Darkseid and 5 useless henchmen, not the Sinister Six. Sinestro was questionable at best for how powerful he is compared to not only his opponent but also his teammates, Darkseid is the same problem x1000. 🤡The Joker. No. Just no. Not only is the character over used. But he's also commonly used poorly, like this. The Joker works best when in direct opposition to Batman. One on one. Joker has NEVER been inclined to work in a team of any kind. Joker would rather eliminate every member of this team before allowing any of them to take out Batman. Which means in order for this idea to even remotely work, you have to sideline him and keep him hidden and not included until Batman has already defeated the other 5? So its not so much the Sinister Six, as it is the Fearsome Five and then Joker shows up after. Facepalm. This is wildly out of character for the Joker for several reasons. (((((((It does not feel like this team was chosen with thought, and how the team would fit and work together, how their skills and abilities should compliment each other. Its composed of 3 leaders, a wildcard, a mercenary and a literal god. So 4 out of the 6 would want to give orders, one wants to be paid, and one will turn on the team eventually. Clearly this is a list of characters Green Lantern thinks are cool. ))))))) _______Bat Drew Picks_______ *GOOD PICK:* 🧠Lex, Thinker, Brainiac. At first having 3 characters that basically fill the same role seems redundant, and it usually is. However this specific trio share the trait of extreme intelligence. This means there is a good chance these three would and could work together. All three are genius' yet they differ in specialty. Brainiac is machine and has advanced technology and advanced engineering skills. The thinker is a genius with biology, biochemistry and radiation. While Lex is a genius at playing people like a fiddle. Charming, coercing, bribing, buying and forcing people to do what he wants, while being one of the most well connected and wealthiest people on earth. All three are masters at strategy to some degree, some more than others. But they compliment each other well, and cover the others "weak" spots. *This drew, is a big brain pick, in every sense of the word.* 🐊Killer Croc. Was originally going to be a questionable pick, but with the big brain trio treating Croc like a lab rat and giving him some Leader created hulk-like-serum, while armoring and upgrading his insides with brainiac nano machines and strapping a few pieces of LexCorp WarSuit armor to his outside, could make for one hell of a Brute, something that even Batman would have issues with. *QUESTIONABLE PICKS:* 🔱King Orm. WOW Drew... you were doing SO good! Then you threw Orm in there, which makes no sense. Outside of a manga, I'm not sure if Orm and Batman have even exchanged words let alone fight. So a guy with nearly no connection to anyone on the team, a king with a kingdom than can rival any on the surface, just comes up and joins the team to 6v1 Batman??? What would even be his motives for doing something like that? What would taking out Batman do for Orm or Atlantis aside from draw heat from the Justice League, or at the very least, Aquaman? Spur of the moment pick right here. Uh...uh... I dunno.. Orm! King Orm! ⚔Aries. LOL Bat Drew gave up on the last two. Used all the brain juice on the big brain pick. Aries is an immortal and way above everyone except possibly Brainiac. Way above Batman in power and scope. Doesnt really fit in with the teams theme either as they all lean towards science as a skillset or origin, yet Aries is 100% magic. So I dont even know if you could use the others to augment him like you could with croc. The goal is to challenge the hero not just choose who can stomp him without help. *BAD PICK:* 🦉Court of Owls. DREW! STOP WHILE YOUR AHEAD! So let me get this straight, you want the ENTIRE COURT OF OWLS secret society as the sixth member of the Sinister Six team?! Its at this point where I either think you have forgotten what the assignment is, or do not understand how a six man team works or possibly what the number six even is. I mean if you can just choose entire groups why not just choose the Legion of Doom as a member and the Sinestro Corps as a member and Project Cadmus as a member and the US Military as a member, like WTF even is this pick? WTF Drew?! My suggestions for the next time you do something similar. 1) Clearly state at the top of the video what the rules of the game are. (Example: Create a Sinister Six team to fight against Batman in Gotham City. You can use any villain from DC Comics, not just Batman baddies. Try to keep your pick at the same level as the hero your going to fight. Keep them in the same "weight class".) 2) When one of you has picked your last pick, show all 6 on screen at the same time, so the viewers can see the final choice. 3) After you have chosen your picks give a short example of how your team would work together. TLDR: Hokie Joker: Followed the assignment. Well rounded team with only 1/6 swap I would make.👍 Green Lantern: Did not read the assignment and listed favorite things. Would swap 4/6 of this team. 👎 Bat Drew: Followed the assignment but got bored half way through and just winged it. Would swap 2/6 of this team. 👍 (Not including Owls.)
