It is strange seeing anyone on the face of Australian coins that is not Queen Elizabeth, as she has been there all my life and of most peoples lives. I'm not sure the King Charles coins will be to popular given he is not as widely liked, but his advanced age may make them more valuable seeing as his rein will be shorter.

I actually think you would really enjoy Bluey, it's fun for kids and adults to watch, both my boys love the show and Steven has so many Bluey books. If you haven't figured out who is who yet bring the collection around and the kids will help. FYI Bluey is a girl.

I can't believe they didn't mint any 50 cent coins in my birth year, but both Oliver and Steven got low mintage 50 cent coins in their birth year.

Weren’t some Australian silver coins minted in San Francisco ? Between 1942 -1944 , hence the S mint mark on the 3 pence . And I thought the 1933 shilling was minted in San Francisco as well ? You didn’t mention San Fransisco at all , I don’t believe every thing I read but also I don’t believe everything I hear on utube . Or do you mean that’s why consulting AI was a dumb idea ?

Was the 2005 MOR a mule? I saw some where all the 2005 should have been the dancing man and by error the MOR made its way onto the planchette and the mint decided to keep it minting for the remaining 5.8 million. Has anyone heard or know of this ?

I couldn’t imagine the mint even bothering to mint 8000 coins for circulation hey, even NIFC I’m sure they wouldn’t bother 🤔. I’m sure I don’t have a 1992 one dollar in my collection. I’d love to see one or even better find one in circulation 🙏. There’s no economic advantage to mint 8000 dollars of any denomination. Wonder what they are playing at there, it is the RAM after all- R eally-A-M ystery.

I like the florins. I only have 2 of the 1927 Old Parliament House ones. Incidentally, I visited the old Parliament House when I went to Canberra recently. It was a beautifully designed building and the interiors were magnificent for its time.

The horrible lady that does the coin display at my local Aust Post Office tells everyone that they don’t and will not be giving out the $1 Blueys in the change , mind you this is the same person who admitted to me when they get the hard to get coins she keeps them all for her friend so he can buy them all and then sell them eBay . True story

For some reason the Fly coin entertained me just like the GACH # 2 Fly coin, I don’t know why but I think they are great 😳. The mintage of the circulating MOR is controversial seeing the RAM hasn’t corrected their web site ( ten years later ). Every year is a great year to collect and hunt 💪👍🍻.
