I keep failing everything its fine until it comes to the slide it works but the silde looks very ugly and doesnt work properly cuz i cant rlly cut it out perfectly so it can close both side mostly one side is to long the other one too short making it look garbage i have wasted so many cardboard do you know the length of every side to cut, of the slide?
The exact length of the slide, I forgot what it was. But if you’re saying the slide keeps coming out uneven, I would improve a little. But try marking where you need to cut using your frame before actually cutting it down. But after you fold it. Mark it with pencil, the connect the marks with a ruler, or wrap some masking tape to the marks and then connect the marks you made.
If your frame is uneven, chances are that could also be why your slide looks funny.

Hey dude I love your videos and builds I usually come to your channel for inspiration or if I'm stuck on a build I come to see if you made it to help me, anyways was just looking through your videos and saw you barely make shotguns, well other then that Remington M870 is there any reason for that? and if not, could you make one? of your choosing of course since your the one making it.
Heyy man thanks for tuning in! I’m always happy to help. I haven’t made too many shotguns mainly because I had trouble making the receiver. I have made two shotguns actually. One I shown. The other I haven’t shown (it was a AA-12). But I do plan to make at least 3 shotguns after I make the MP7. One being a Serbu super shorty on a Remington 870 receiver, Mossberg 590 and a M1014 shotgun.

I can. But you can also make a spring from cardboard if you can’t get a metal one.
