@@SpudZookaL2G its default blizz frames with 2 weakauras and 2 addons. 1 weakaura for targeted spells, 1 for defensives on the party frames. 1 addon for shields and 1 for dispellable debuffs. Dm me if u want them.

The route we do has us skipping those 2 guys and since they have truesight, the only way to skip them is to have someone drag them aside so I run them away while my group goes through and after they start casting the charge, I run away far enough so I don't re-enter combat after I shadowmeld and rejoin my team

@@aura6400 thank you. Trust me that fear going off -> instant wipe and key brick has happened to me too. First pull in here is super nasty and eventually you have to do the pull we did where you have to grab another golem pack from inside the boss room

wago.io/f5SA1p-ye It's an edited version of this. I just removed some abilities that I don't want to proc the weakaura. I pretty much only PI the enhancement shaman on his ascendance in premade keys, but in pugs it can be really anyone who is pressing their CDs at the correct times

think we tried 2 healer for a bit and 3 was just easier and more consistent so we killed with 3

i've been really back and forth on it as well. some take and some dont. I've just been trying it out and seeing if I like it. One reason I heard from top eu disc is you can precast it precisely before damage events and it lets you get more healing in a certain window. Other arguments I've heard is it's decent healing/damage for a talent point that's probably not going anywhere else super vital. The big argument against it is that smite is often just more valuable when trying to get voidwraith back in a hurry and the damage from halo is only really good on a lot of mobs + in shadow cov. Honestly I'd keep monitoring what top discs use and see if they start learning one way or the other. I've been untalenting it lately and maybe it's better, idk.

​@@cyn_x This is what I gathered as well. It's only 1 talent point but is it even worth wasting the global like you said. I like the idea of precasting before a damage event though because of the travel time of halo. Thanks for your input

In this dungeon at least, Disc is easier to heal every boss even when I'm a bit new to the spec/badly statted gear. The Skarmorak boss is WAY easier as disc.

@@cyn_x do you say that just because stonevault just has so much aoe dmg that comes out on the first 3 bosses? and disc can handle that better with immense aoe healing and barrier? also can you explain why you only break 1 spike at a time on first boss?

@@k2ride823 shaman feels like you have to perfectly rotate your cds and grp cds and managing mana to do these bosses, but disc is able to just blast so much aoe healing on a consistent basis that it feels easy. There's varying strategies to breaking first boss pillars. My groups just used to doing 1/1/4 and we use big defensive for the 4stacker. I think some other grps do 0/0/6 which puts even more emphasis on the final smash into 6stack dot

@@cyn_x This is also what I feel like, but didn't have anything to compare it to. I am currently 3206io resto shaman pushing 15's and 16's and its starting to get insane for healing throughput and mana conservation. It feels like I need to drink every other pull. That strategy makes a lot of sense. I think I would prefer to do it that way. I'll have to try that in my keys with organized groups. Thanks for the information.

So originally we used to have the tank hit a small cd and run into 1 pillar right away so we'd have 2 pillars left going into each set of lines and we'd break 2. We realized at this level, the tank didn't have enough defensive CDs to cover breaking pillars and trying to live the boss as well. Also taking 2 pillar breaks + line into 2 pillar breaks + line into big AOE was just too scary to heal and felt like we didn't have enough personals to cover everything decently. So we looked at videos of other groups doing the first boss and we just copied what we saw another group doing on a 14 stonevault. This current strategy is much better for tank survivability, healer mana, and overall group survivability imo. The strat is to only break 1 pillar per set of lines and not use too much to live the lines. The personals/rotated raid cds would be used on the remaining 4stack of pillars + big AOE. This video was the first time we tried this strat and to me as a healer it seemed much easier.

@@cyn_x Is your tank taking wrecking throw or shattering throw for Skarmorak, hence him taking 3 orbs each phase? Do they think it's worth it? Or is there another reason why hes taking the orbs isntead of the dps players?

@@gupidhaliwal7258 it's probably mistake, we've only done this boss like 2-3 times above 12 and we've never had a shield breaking problem to the point where we had to discuss how to distribute orbs correctly. I know when I watch like fdk groups they just let them get like 5+ orbs and they carry it. I'll try to fix for next time

I've gotten comments to do voiceover in the past, but never got around to it. I'll see if I can do one soon. We skip the 4pack initially because we eventually want to combine the two packs, but engaging the 2 big guys and the 4pack at the same time is far too dangerous. So what we do is fight the 2 guys until they do their stomps at 50%, then we drag them down into the 4 pack. This 4pack destroys your tank + every cast needs to be stopped + the 2 big guys are constantly dropping bramble puddles to move out of. This is a decent timesave over doing them separately. I used tremor totem on the first boss on every fear it cast. I can't really predict the tick rate on the totem (or at least I don't have the knowledge to game it or judge the tick rates) so maybe it seemed like I didn't tremor. Earthgrab totem is just the easiest way to route in your talent tree to tremor so that's why I take it + yeah its nice to root totem the 2nd boss vulpins if your group can manage to not break the cc I prefer totemic over farseer at the moment in these level of keys. The instant cast healing rain -> downpour + healing stream totem to apply ancestral vigor+downpour health steroids on your entire party in 3 gcds is extremely powerful. There are extremely good rshams out there that swear by Farseer so both are definitely viable. I just haven't run into a problem with totemic just yet that makes me want to swap to Farseer.

@@cyn_x thanks for lengthy explanations, i am running totemic as well currently and not pushing high keys like you, just +9 so far, but getting there, so thanks for that. The biggest problem is mana drain and drinking often and i miss some external DR for tank such as pain suppression or whatever, rest all is good, enjoying it

wago.io/TargetedSpells I think it's this but it seems outdated now from looking at it. I'll recheck when I get on later and reply again if there's something different. Having a targeted spells weakaura on your party frame is extremely important. It's a bit of a knowledge hack to know someone in your party is about to get hit before they get hit. Gives you a moment to react and precast something into them or be ready to instant cast as soon as they get hit. One example its super sick on is the magic dot that gets applied to people in the mists of tirna scithe maze. You can see who its going to be cast on before they even get the dot so you can time your global in a way they don't take any dot ticks. Reacting naturally to this dot usually results in the person taking a few ticks.

@@cyn_x Don't apologize, it's just that this fight is extremely patterned for healers :) Phase 1 === blow all cooldowns in sequential order Phase 2 === filler so regen mana while using small heals to keep people topped (divine plea end of phase 1 since you burned lot of heals) Phase 3 === cooldowns back up at start phase 3 in sequential order and again by last parts of the fight

its fun overall, strong spot healing on bosses with prio targets to heal feels good. really enjoy this iteration of hpal

@@cyn_x does it play like a strong tank healer regardless of hero talent? I was enjoying holy bulwark a lot during beta. But I think during the leveling process the absorbs were doing way more than intended due to the poor scaling
