What's the purpose of it? I see it has a lug welded in..but what is is for?

This Idea goes back to the old short hood hand crank welders. On cold mornings, one would get one welder started and use that welder to jump off the rest. It's suppose to be (+) POS to (-) and (-)NEG to (+)POS on the leads, because of the way the current flows through the generator for proper rotation to turn the engine. It's just like a Starter/ Generator on the real old Lawn tractors such as one with a Wisconsin engine or Kohler like a Wheel horse. Old, old school stuff.

I have a bad habit of leveling my turned on to accessory mode and it kills my battery. I jump start it with my ol Lincoln Ranger… I’ve also used my Ranger to get home when my alternator went out buy leveling it running on while hooked up to my battery

My battery is never dead, I hooked it up to charge from the truck

Machine don't make the welder. It's from the shoulder to the holder. Crank up the heat and let it wip

As long as it makes money and you know what your doing. So i tell you a true story. This guy and i get our hair cut from the same individual. So he was telling her that he bought a welding machine and said you seen Adams machine. She said yeah. He then said well mines bigger than his. I said it is but mine makes more money bc he bought a machine that didnt work. Anyhow, I have a miller 250 and i painted it the same color of my truck. It makes the same money the SA 300 makes. By the way i like your welding bed. The whole truck looks nice. Wish you nothing but the best
