Earlier, the forest office also used to provide tent accommodation near the office; not talking about Battara mane. Is that also not allowed anymore ? I'm planning to go on the trek, any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

​@@MohammadAli-mu2di Trekking from kukke to kukke is hardest one You can start trek from - kukke and end it at somvarpet Or - start from somvarpet and end it at kukke These are better options i suppose

Yes there are 3 plans 1. Kukke Subramanya to Beedahalli Base Camp to Kumara Parvata to Somvarpete 2. Somwarpete to Beedahalli Base Camp to Kumara Parvata to Kukke Subramanya 3. Kukke Subramanya to Girigadde Base Camp to Kallu Mantapa to Shesha Parvata to Kumara Parvata to Kukke Subramanya

@@SuttaduMaga thanks for the information understood camping is not allowed from Subramanya to kumara parvatha & back to Subramanya it’s 22 kilometers & it will take 13 hours right ? So we can start the trek at 5am ?

@@AakankshShadakshari It is actually 6am to 6pm last 6:30pm should see what changes department will do because its very tough to complete so quick but still can manage, if you strongly wanna go....

Book for 20th if your starting from forest office at 5 am in the morning towards kumara parvata, book it through online website, link is in description and comments section.

Yes before also it was not allowed to camp in the forest, due to wildlife existence, we can only camp near the forest office in a designated area, you will know where to camp after you reach the Forest office, there only you can camp, but you should book tickets online.... I have given a link in the description for booking please check for availability.

Thank you for the information Should book the trek date when we visit the forest office on that particular date Example I’m thinking to visit on 19th and I’ll stay in bhattaru(forest office) and next day I’ll start from bhattaru mane (forest office )towards peak like 20th . Could you please tell me on which date should I book the trek!!!? 19th or 20th !!!

It was closed till September end 2024 i think it's open now, camping is not allowed on the peak of kumara parvata, but you can camp near the forest office at a designated place. Camping is allowed only there.
