Job For A Cowboy is a great band! The first song I was introduced to by them, was "Tarnished Gluttony." If you have a weak stomach, I don't suggest you watch the music video for "Tarnished Gluttony."

I took piano lessons from Amy Lee and honestly, Evenescence has done some amazing shows, but their shows at Vino's pizza pub and brewery in Little Rock, we hands down the best shows they ever did. Living Sacrifice is trash. They have always been trash, but fuck if their live shows are absolutely the most fun youll have.

For New York you should have included the alt rock band, Splender. They were big in the 2000s. They were signed with Columbia Records and had Todd Rundgren on their first album. They toured with KoRn, Def Leppard, etc., and were widely respected by almost everyone. Other alt rock bands you could’ve included were Collapsis (more post grunge but whatever), Dakona, Averi, Stir, Dexter Freebish, Pay The Girl and Athenaeum

For Idaho, I'd have suggest Magic Sword. Also, it's not big deal that you forgot Illinois. Being from the state, I want to forget Illinois too. But one band from Illinois worth mentioning (besides the obvious Smashing Pumpkins and REO Speedwagon) would have to be N.I.L.8

Alright Vermonter here I'll drop what I know. Also I'm primarily a metalhead so I don't really know as much punk or emo scenes. Biggest metal band to come out of Vermont was Brattleboro's Barishi, who have reformed under the name Ordh. Burlington does have a small scene, in particular I want to shout out the still pretty young Split In Half if you're a fan of stuff like 200 Stab Wounds. Some hardcore/powerviolence bands from the state on my radar are Cooked, Torn, and Void Bringer (who describe themselves as "mapleviolence", whatever that means)

As a Minnesotan it surprised me when I learned slipknot was from the state of Iowa. I just thought Iowa would’ve been some generic random album name for them but now that I look back on the Iowa album I can see why they decided that name for the album.

The worst part about being from Wyoming is that some really good punk and metal has come out of here, but people outside only ever talk about/mention Teenage Bottle Rocket. They are the worst fucking band on God's green earth.
