I want to start this business.
Go for it! Where abouts are you from? It works well if you're facing customers (like markets or small stalls). My only online customers are the tourists that came and purchased scrunchies at the markets from me.
@@alexandandreau I am from India.how are your bussiness going.what diffculty in this business. please tell me.
@suruchi539 Customers are the main thing. Unless you are selling them in the market or store like I do, it is hard to market them online as there are thousands of them online. And don't go over board on the fabric designs, I have 140 designs and it is hard to keep up with it. Only buy and post the things you can easily get online all the time. People like neutral colours and kids like cartoon designs.
What measurements did you used
Hi, I'm sorry for the late reply. My boards are at the markets I will measure them when I go to the markets tomorrow (hopefully I wont forget 😅)
Que medidas uso?
Thank you for sharing it came out so awesome what size do you use to make the hole for the dowel please
Apologies for the late reply. The size of the drill bit is 12.5. Make sure to have the same size dowel. Don't go any bigger unless you have special tools to drill it. I had a hard time finding the drill size for it and ended up spending more on the tools than the entire board display itself 😅
Hola buenos días desde Colombia disculpa apenas me encontré con tu video. Me podrías decir cómo puedo hacer estas marquillas o etiquetas es que no entiendo lo que dices
Hi I think there are subtitles on the videos if you go on the settings. If not let me know and I will just type it here.
Maam is the size or measurements
Normal ink lang po yung sa printer or pigment?
Normal ink lang po ☺️ The one that comes with the printer.
not bad not bad i like it. i also like the "hidden" Laptop and Netflix* ;D
Ahahaha it is actually Prime & I'm watching Vampire Diaries for the 100th times now 😅 I need a new show to binge watch whilst working 🤣
Thank you so much!!!! Best video so far on this subject! New follower! Love ya girl! ❤
Thank you so much lovely!
Hi ive just subscribed. i have just bought my first sewing machine and was looking for something small to sew as my first project, i saw this one and thought ooh cute scrunchies, my 3 yr old would love that! As its my first project im 34 and have never sewn before, do you have a tutorial? I'm still learning how to thread my machine lol. Craft stores here in Australia are so overwhelming and there's so much Fabric, poppy cotton, 100% cotton, quilting cotton, satin, canvas, curtain fabric, flannelette. Which material do I need to buy to make a good selection for my daughter, im thinking I'll make 5 or 10 scrunchies for her. What size material should I buy? Id love a tutorial. 😊
Hi Lovely! Thank you so much for subscribing and giving me ideas for a great content. I haven't been able to do long vlogs lately after my pregnancy (the joy of newborns hey? 🤣) At the market, kids loves buying cotton poplin for their scrunchies as those are the ones that has licensed cartoons designs like Frozen, Bluey etc. Although if you make petite scrunchies (like this one on the video) you won't be able to see much of the design, hence I mostly do satins on this one. Your best bet are the standard sizes. I will do my best to do a tutorial on all the sizes of scrunchies I make in the next coming weeks 🤞😅 Hope that helps, thanks again for your lovely message 😘
@@alexandandreau Hi, thank you so much! What is a standard size? I'm literally a newbie haha. Ah newborns, I've got 3 kids and I remember just being able to shower and brush my teeth was an accomplishment! xx
@AussieMumVLOGS ahaha I've got 3 too 🤣 I feel you! 🤣 I do markets 3x a week plus the online shop & nanny to my children 🤣 I've got 3 sizes of scrunchies, XL, standard (the normal size) & then the one on this video are petites.

Oh my gosh I think I’ve walked past ur stand at a market wit my bestie! That’s sooo cool I love ur scrunchies!❤
Oh wow! So great to hear you love my scrunchies! I really appreciate it. Hope to see you in the market again soon 😘
Hello! I don't know if you can answer me, but I would like to print on cotton at the other my own drawings can you tell me which printer I can buy and which brand please thank you
I use inkjet printer its an Epson-WF 3720, onky because I use transfer sheets and not directly on the label. If that makes sense? Let me know how you go. 😉
Hi what Juki sewing machine are you currently using? thank you
I have the Juki DDL 8000A
It is really good, lots of function and a lot faster. My only problem is (it may be from the settings idk) the thread keeps coming off, and I it is annoying, esp when I am in a rush, making stock 😪
@@alexandandreau thank you for responding.
@tais3 sorry for the late reply, idk why i'm not getting notifications 😢
@@mhizzq1889 no worries
Hi! Thank you very much for sharing this video with us, is very useful. I just suscribed! Have you ever tried this printing technique on satin fabric? I would like to try and make satin ribbon or satin fabric labels, Would you recomend this technique for that? Thank you and greetings from Mexico!! 🇲🇽😀❤️
Hi there! Apologies for the late reply. I used to use satin ribbon before, that was my first labels, and I had problems with the outcome of the labels after the heating process. You will see most of the letters will be crooked. But maybe try to adjust the heat setting? Oh and they don't last long after a couple of wash the design or logo would peel off 🥴
That's why I switched to cotton fabric. They last longer and the image is clearer after transferring to the fabric. Hope that helps 😉
@@alexandandreau thank you very much! I appreciate your advice.
Sistah Girlfriend! I am impressed how you moved the container by yourself. I dont have as much mer as you do and get tired. You gave me motivation. Txs
Ahaha, trust me, at the end of the day, I can barely walk or even get to bed from too much pain 😅 🤣
Great idea 💡
Thank you 😊
Le quedaron muy bonitas 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 qué medida corta su tela y el elástico, por favor
The size of my elastic is 12mm
lovely.
Thanks for your video. Can I ask what are you gluing? Also, do you ever iron scrunches before inserting elastic?
Thanks for watching. That was my old method of putting the elastics, I used to glue them and then stitch them, but now I only tie it. I don't iron the fabric before inserting the elastic as the fabric will be scrunch anyway. Hope that helps. Feel free to ask if you have other questions, I'd be happy to answer. 😉😊
Hello!!! Waving at you from elsewhere on the GC!!! Just found you today! Well done!
Oh hi there! Thank you so much! 😊🥰
Wonderful video. You explained things perfectly. Well done, your scrunched walls look great 👍
Thank you so much! ❤️
Where did you get your banner, and how did you get it to stick like that?
It was some sort of a diy, lol. It is from Vista Print, but that wasn't the actual size. I had to cut the banner in half, then sew it to that size. I had to do it that way to save money. Because if I were to get the proper valance in that size, it would be more expensive, like I was quoted by a different company for $250+, but I only paid $45 for this oh and Vista Print does not have that valance size so I had to improvise. If that makes sense? 😅 Apologies for the confusing explanation. DM me on IG, so I can send you the actual photo of the banner I ordered 😉
Then, I used a velcro with a heavy duty double sided tape.
Thank you for the response.
Your videos consistently bring joy and thoughtfulness. Your content is like a breath of fresh air and it would be great to connect on RUclips.
Thank you so much for you lovely comment! 😘
Those are gorgeous!!!!
Thank you! 😊They are one of my faves!👌
Great video. Just subscribed

Hi Thank you so so much for the Video !! It's perfect! and just at the right time too... I am adding it to my favorites list, thanks Again Diana Au xx
My pleasure, Diana. Sorry again if it took longer for me to make it, was just extremely busy at the market and other stuff. 😅😊
Is it possible for you to share the size of the boards and the backing stands?? And the length of the dowls that are in the board
Hi there! Apologies for the late reply I don't know why I didn't receive a notification with regards to your comment. I will get you the measurements when I get to the market today as all my scrunchie board displaya are stored in there. 😉
Hi! I love your vlogs. I was just wondering, when you send your package with Australia Post, as letter post with not tracking, have you ever had any problems the package not arriving to the customer? thanks for your help. I’m trying to launch my small business soon but shipping gives me headache. 😅
Hi, apologies for the late response. I have sent no tracking once or twice so far I believe. Never had a problem. Just take photos of proof that you have packed it & sent it esp the receipt that you will get from Auspost. Good luck to your business! 😊
And yes, figuring out the shipping is really hard. That is the hardest part for me(i think) when I was sorting out my website. 🥴
@@alexandandreau Thank you so much for your reply and advice ☺️
hi there, can you pls do a tutorial on how you print your labels? Diana Vic Au
Hi Diana, Yes, I can do that for sure.. 😊
@@alexandandreau thank you x
Hi Diana, I have just posted the video that you requested. Sorry if it took a while 😅
@@alexandandreau oh thank you so much i will go watch it now xx
What is the measurement for the scrunchie
For the petite, it is approximately 2.5 inches in diameter and 1.5-2 inches wide.
So it's 1.5-2 inch width by which length? Thank you🌹
Subscribed! ❤🎉
Thank you so much! 😘
Ready, we did it! Thanks for sharing.
Oh wow! Please share a picture in my insta, can't wait to see it🤗😍

Loved watching, I will be an avid UK viewer from now on. Your work ethic is amazing, you work so hard. How long were you before you got your first order? I’ve just started my own journey selling online, I think you’re a bit further in than me though. Best wishes and good luck, I know you’re going to smash this. 🥰 xx
Thank you so much for your lovely message, my first order was the wholesale order, I think that was the 24th of September. It's a bit tough with online orders I must admit, it needs a LOT of marketing to get more customers, I just ventured in the market selling near where we live and I made more sales there than in my website 😅 I'm just trying to catch up with the market restocks and I will have more video updates about the market that I want to share. 😉 Thank you so much again for your support it means a lot to me 🥰
New fan in here, just want to know if you are willing to share your website builder. I am starting my small business too .
Hi Angel, thank you so much for your lovely message, which gives me an idea of what content to make in the next coming weeks. I really would like to talk about the difference about the two websites I am using to sell online. I use Etsy and Shopify by the way. Etsy is pretty straightforward, where as Shopify is a bit more complicated coz you have to drive your own customers to your website to get sales and I think I made more sales in Etsy than shopify. With that being said, I haven't done much marketing may be the reason why as I am focusing more in the market now and haven't got much time to update the website and marketing 😅
@@alexandandreau thanks for your reply. I am currently on Etsy now and yeah they say shopify is really good if you already had a build followers or crowds. Well I'm working fulltime so for me I think Etsy is good for me now. Anyway your products looks great on the website though.
Yes, I think Etsy is better than Shopify or a lot cheaper and simpler. It took me 2 weeks or so to finish my shopify website whereas the Etsy only took me less than a week.
How wide r thay
Which ones? 🙂
How long r thay
They are half the size of the fabric width when you finish sewing it. I think I have youtube shorts or tiktok where you can see how I cut the fabric. Cotton fabrics are mostly 120 cm so half of that when I finish sewing it.
Apologies for the very very late reply. I have only now seen the comments in my youtube channel 😅
