Is there really no way to play these missions on your own? I've heard stories others say they've done this on there own and I'm left wondering how? When it continuously asks me to be in a strike team for the mission, I've tried playing with others in prior missions and there complete and utter clowns that don't know what on earth there doing it's so infuriating, man I wish I could play these type of missions, I suppose watching these vids is to only other way I can see these missions function

If this mission isn’t on your War Table for whatever reason there’s another good XP farm in the Eastern Seaboard map. Just pick either VS mission for Abomination or Task Master. Go to the first marker after the bridge. Eliminate every enemy then enter the tower and use the elevator. The next objective is where the farm is taking down the VIP mini-boss. This enemy can vary from an Adaptoid to an Exo or a Dreadbot. When you take it down and the next objective marker appears reload the checkpoint. Keep farming this VIP target till you get bored :)
