Fave Photos - Two Speed Showcase Sequences
Apart from camping, reading and keeping fit, I also do some photography. I am self taught and have learned a lot over the years.
Here is a little showcase of some of my favorite pics taken over a few years using various Nikon cameras.
The music is "Jeanie and Caroline" by Retrigger who I found on jamendo.com many years ago now. Used under original CC license. Edited in CapCut.
BTW, if you don't like this video and want to give it a thumbs down, at least let me know why so I can improve my work in future, otherwise your dislike has no value to me.

Day 190 Staying Fit at Over 55yo (BIKING) Testing Camera Setup
So Humble. Just so refreshing watching someone without the emphasis on " Look At Me " , yet enjoyable watch. Thanks to God that You taking appropriate measures to recover that seem to be working. All that hard work , like riding against the wind , yet accepting it as not an obstacle , but as useful is great to see. Not that I myself will do that any time soon , but like you said - at your own pace. Thank You for making the tape
You're too kind Moh. There's always obstacles. Our strength is in how we tackle them. My shoulder is much better, but I still have some ache there, as well as my wrists, and my ever present back condition, but I will persevere because the alternative isn't an option really. Thx for coming along for the ride.
Photos of Two Naked women attracts over 8 Thousand views. Whoulda thought. I bit the bullet and went topless in my latest video and struggled to get a hundred views. Perhaps I needed to put " TOPLESS " in the title. Hmmm - I have an idea.
Yeah people are quite Neanderthal at times lol.
@@okidoke4822 Yes I am. I do not understand Art. But what I have noticed , that the exact same woman can be absolutely stunning in one photo , and very ordinary in another. It's like those glamour shots some women have done. Unattractive women can come up really well with the right conditions.
@@mohammednovalija In my opinion art shouldn't need to be understood, for the most part. I think real art should instantly grab you and emote you in some way, and for some people it's easier for some types of art and some types of "modern art" is just utter bullshit and there are people who just pretend think they understand it just to be better that another person who can't grasp the concept. As for those women you mention, it's a photographer or painter's objective (often) to bring out the beauty, even if that beauty might be more than just physical. Sometimes you can see, even feel, certain traits in a person that make them beautiful; like their compassion, or kindness, or humbleness. And of course, one man's trash is another man's treasure.
Great stuff, any of these girls got socials?
Probably.
Okay at first I wanted to hate it, cause I didn't feel this belonged on YT, (you need to seriously make this not available to children). But in all honesty; good job. I see your passion, I see your care. I feel like there's too much going on in the wider shots where the focus isn't directly the scenery; maybe some aperture will help direct the eyes? I'm not at all a photographer, just my own amateur opinion. I'd give the whole shoot about a 8.5/10 simply from a viewers perspective ❤
The only reason I decided it was okay to upload this is because it was able to be age-restricted, so in theory kids wouldn’t see it. And let’s be realistic, it’s quite tame to what is more readily accessible. This was very early in my portrait work, so I was still learning, so I don’t disagree with what you’re saying, but also will point out that photography, well any art really, is totally subjective. I just wanted to share my work so I appreciate you watching. Thank you.
@@okidoke4822 that's, good to see. It's one thing posting nude art on RUclips, another is allowing all ages to see. That's why there's a check box there. But I can see the argument going the other way. You know if you wanna show nude risque material to an audience, there are other outlets on these devices to achieve such. with some of these videos on the "kids RUclips" don't seem to actually be for kids, like those awful Minecraft highschool parodies. Could be worse. I really like the one picture in the cave, it's really tasteful and if nude yoga is fine I don't see anything wrong 9/10
@@UPROARIOUSDINGUS thanks. I guess there'll always be those elements of out society that want to cause problems, and too often good people suffer. We need to be seeing more people doing good things in this world because there are people doing good things. There's too much of the bad stuff out there, and sadly, humans too often are drawn to it for various reasons, and that includes sensationalist news networks. I appreciate you watching.
I missed this tape. Straight away what stood out to me was the huffin' and puffin' at the 4:23 mark I'm thinking there was a helluvalot of editing there cut out. I reckon You could do 4:23 on the heavy bag and not puff that much.
I usually hit the heavy bag for up to an hour. My cardio fitness is pretty good. I may breathe hard but I recover quick. Let me tell you a little secret; I actually have a rare heart condition where all my arteries extend from one half of my heart. The result is, when I’m working harder, the arteries push against each other and restrict the flow a little so oxygen doesn’t get around as good as it could. I’m okay, but just means I have to draw deeper breaths. And talking while being energetic is extra work on my lungs, but I make do. Thx for watching.
Just FYI , try writing " Will Harlow " into the RUclips Search Bar. You may or may not find his tapes interesting or useful.
thx. i will check him out.
Enjoying your candid insights about yourself. Your obstacles and your achievements. What I Love the most is your humbleness. I'm watching this one again. Thank You for the effort to produce and share.
Kind of you to say Moh.
Great video. I’m going to have to check that place out. It looks like an awesome place to spend a few days.

@@okidoke4822 liked and subscribed. Will definitely check out your other videos.
Great video, Dan. Hope your shoulder gets feeling better soon.
You’re a treasure
At least once in My Life , I hurt my shoulder from simply skipping a stone across a pond. And I now fear throwing stuff as it takes ages to get better. Something to ponder. It's not the fall that kills people , it's the sudden stop at the end. The heavy bag , great cardio , but just wonder if it is hindering or helping your current situation. Painkillers to help you sleep sounds good , but not to hide the pain so that you could overuse and worsen a damaged area. I used to enjoy the next day pain of working muscles that ain't been used for ages. But NOT the pain of damaged calves from pulled muscles. I wish you success in discovering the cause of your prolonged what sound like injuries.
Seeing a physio today and will ask some questions about certain exercises. I think the heavy bag is okay, but I've not touched it since my shoulder started aching. Yeah, I also don't throw stones anymore. I used to be so good at it too lol, but now a 5yo girl could do better than me at that.
@@okidoke4822 Always a step ahead of me - most people are. Not sure about the little girl , but Tony Kechnick can - I miss him a little in your tapes ( yeah I know I got his name wrong )
@ lol I miss him in real life. He’s hard to pin down at times.
I Love your tapes because you are just an average bloke sharing a purposeful Life with lots of goals and aims. And make me understand that good things don't just happen but you have to put in. And I feel sad when bad things happen to good people.
I appreciate your words man. Sometimes good things can just happen, but it's pretty rare, or maybe they're happening more often than we think and we're too ignorant to realise it. I don't know. I wish the universe wasn't so subtle. I don't want to keep guessing my way through life.
Another informative video 👍
Cheers. Appreciate you watching
Beautiful!
If we choose to see it, it’s always there 😘
A great video, well presented and your editing is now next level.
Thanks for that mate. For some reason I've never thought to use my DLSR to take footage, so I might experiment with that as well in future. Especially for some close up shots of animals and birds. Also, it's you I have to thank for putting me onto CapCut. I've purchased the Pro version for the great audio enhancement ability. Thanks for watching.
Nice video 🙏👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Your Tape started off with " Damn , You forgot to take me with You " And I also noticed it is a little more about You and how You spent your day , yet still remaining Humble as usual , but also providing the valuable information for other Campers. Maybe it's because I admire You more now , but I think this was your best tape ever. Some sights were glossed over too quickly , but trying to keep the show within a reasonable watching period does that. Best half hour I have spent for some time - Thank You so much for your effort and for sharing.
I had to cut the video from 4hrs of footage. I don’t like to make them too long, but what do you think I glossed over? I’m happy to expand further if I can?
@@okidoke4822 Glossed over the flat stones thing. Glossed over the structure supported by frames. Perhaps a little more reviewish type description of your furnishings. That 3 and a half hours of footage on the floor is another 7 half hour tapes. You know what you are doing , and why , and I do not really have a clue , but my cutting room floor is spotless. How about doing a pisspoor quick editing effort with some of that footage , and slapping it up and Titling it " The BORING Bits of my day at KARA KARA " See how the views compare to the Good tape. And see if the Subscriber count moves positive or negative. For ME , I'm going back for seconds , thats how much I enjoyed it - OR was it shit and I was confused.
@@mohammednovalija You took time and effort to respond, so I will do the same. Some people might say I talk a lot, others might say I “gloss over” things, but one thing I don’t do is discuss stuff I don’t know anything about, so I keep to what I know, or perhaps I might be able to find out later and make a notation. In this case I said all I could and there was nothing to add later. My “furnishings” are mostly old stuff and I only added that info this time in case someone was curious. There are enough reviews out there for products, so I didn’t want to do that myself. I found that power station through reviews, so no need for me to add my two cents worth. The omitted footage is literally me just prattling on about the mundane, which I do enough in the video already, so no need to bore viewers any more than I have to. As for subscribers, well, to be honest, I’m not really concerned whether people follow, like or subscribe to me or not. I just like making the videos and maybe being a little entertaining. Plus it’s an activity that helps me get through the day, and if it benefits anyone’s life, that’s a bonus. To me, talking to the camera is like talking to someone; it’s cathartic. Thanks for watching my “tape”.
My Compliments on what You have created with your property. Most people go Camping to sample Paradise. You go camping to sample NOT Paradise.
One man's paradise is another man's place of torment, so it comes down to your own perspective I guess. But thanks for the compliment. There's a lot of blood, sweat toil in my yard. Never ends and looks completely different to when we moved in 24 years ago. I love all the animal life that frequents the gardens. It's nice to sit and enjoy at times.
You sound like shit. Cough syrup may help with that.
I've been drinking tea with lemon and honey, and sucking on lozenges. I'll be right soon. I'm hoping to get away camping again this week :)

YUP. I always start my tapes looking at my reflection of my phone glass to see if the red light is on. This started when one day I missed an hour of possibly my best tape ever. I pressed the button twice and for the whole day I didn't record when I should have been and recorded when it was supposed to be off. I ended up with and hour recording of the inside of my knapsack.
Oh I’ve done many accidental recordings too lol
And using pushup bars make 'm twice as difficult - Well done You. I'ld be honoured to re-imburse You for your app if it turns to shit.
I appreciate the offer mate, but it's not necessary. I've decided to bite the bullet and accept the terms because I really want to keep having access to the mapped rides and walks I do, BUT, I've gone into my phone settings and turned the location setting for SportsTracker to "on only when using app", so they can eat me lol. Thx for watching Mono.

In a weird uncanny way thise woods scare me. Maybe it's just bush stuff? So unique.
I do some hiking on my camping videos. There’s little to be scared of. Just be aware and prepared.
SooooOOOOOoooo cooooOOOOOoooolll So much fun!
can be for sure.
Riding on the edge. I could probably ride those tracks in my mind , but in the Real World I am a coward and way too concerned about hurting myself. But I have been watching a fellas channel who does hiking in the bush - either along tracks or animal tracks or even bush bashing. It sounds like something I could do and even enjoy. Bad Luck with the log - more balancing exercises for you Sir.
Hahaha yeah more practice needed. I should’ve been looking further ahead.
@@okidoke4822 Maybe watch the guys that do motorcycle Trials , but with a pushbike. They can balance without moving , climb up boulders , turn on a dime , just amazing. Balance may not assist with fitness , but sure as heck would help stop falls which often come with aging. I KNOW You would Hate to be in a wheelchair - Don't we all. But I did see you have incorporated some balancing in your workout. I suggest replacing a few rounds on the heavy bag with more balancing and stability. 40 minutes on the bag seems more than enough.
@@mohammednovalija give me a break mate, those guys/girls have been riding before they could walk. I’ve never tried those bike balancing skills before. As for the bag, it’s my cardio training and I usually incorporate abs exercises with it.
@@okidoke4822 I'm sorry - I wasn't implying you should be able to do those feats , was just alerting you to their existence. Best I stop trying to help someone who obviously knows what he is doing and has researched plenty. Especially when I am at the bottom of the hill , and even on the wrong path. It would be much more beneficial for me if I get within a mile of You before I think I know something useful.
@@mohammednovalija it's all good Mono. No stress. My previous reply was said with a smile.
Great vid, mate! (Still watching.) Love the boulders and rocky areas, too. Funny stairs over the fence! Like an ancient temple. 🙂

I'm not GAY , but I can't help but admire the beauty of the top swimmers body. Have You ever considered making swimming part of your routine ?
I’ve done lots of swimming but I find it quite boring to be honest. I also admire that body shape and making efforts to achieve that even at my age. I’m working out right now actually lol. I couldn’t are less if you were gay so stop mentioning it. I’m not either btw lol
@@okidoke4822 Am glad to hear you say your not Gay and thats the end of it. Am hoping you get out soon so I can watch your next adventure. Especially the serenity.
You are amazing. For the minute , You are my role model. I'm gonna listen to all your stuff and maybe get out of my unfulfilling Life and see it for what it really is - NOT THAT BAD. Falling over or baulking at the slightest obstacle and then getting emotional is not the answer. I notice you read books. Have you 1 or 2 books that are practical that inspired you to move from a depressive state to a more satisfying lifestyle ? I read a bunch of self help books and articles but rarely go further than just reading. I think maybe a Partner to Love and to Love me back is what is missing from My Life. OR NOT. For now I will peruse your tapes and see what else you have in your Library. Thank You for sharing your genuine need to assist others in the way you do.
I don’t have any self help books to recommend sorry. I did read and for many years live by “How to win friends and influence people” by Dale Carnegie, but it doesn’t really work as well in today’s “woke” society, which I learned the hard way. Anyway, I just try to be the best person for myself. I’m no expert in relationships, as many can attest to, so all I can say there is just be how you want to be, and hopefully thru life you can make relationships with people who sync with you. Dismiss the fakes and phoneys, don’t try to live up to other people’s expectations or be something you’re not. Find pleasure in small things and don’t allow yourself to be stressed. I wouldn’t say my life is satisfying, but little things can satisfy me to the point I’m distracted from bad thoughts. You have the right to live on this earth like everyone else, so do whatever makes you happy, as long as it doesn’t negatively impact anything/anyone else. There are forums dedicated to such things that you can share your thoughts and experiences on fyi. You might click with someone there also. I somehow have become much less stressed, since I retired due to mental health issues, and where once I was aggravated and upset by any little thing that went wrong, I now often laugh it away and just reattempt what I was doing. I still can get upset and feel like the universe is punishing me, but I’ve gotten better at quelling my emotional reaction. I find punching a heavy bag good medicine lol. Good luck to you. Don’t give up - it just plays into the hands of those who wish you ill will.
@@okidoke4822 Thank You for reply - I will read it closely in the coming days. I saw some of your tapes early days and I thought "This bloke seems content with simple things" - " I wanna be him ". But I wanna be like him , but still be me , without the shit parts I have . But I understand that even you have shit parts , but are making an effort to get rid of them. Admiration from me , and may that you continue to overcome any distractions that may try to drag you from a good place. I am going out tomorrow and I will see if I can enjoy and share my enjoyment despite any obstacles.
Everybody has something to deal with, some just have more to deal with and/or more complex. It just comes down to how you manage to cope with it. It’s okay to admit that sometimes it gets the better of you. You’re only human. With regard to your gold searching, let the whole experience be the enjoyment and not just the moment you find gold. It’s like when I go camping. The camping starts the moment I start packing my stuff and not when I’m finally sitting in my chair by the fire having a drink.
Awesome video. I really enjoyed it. I must camp at that lake.

As for my tummy, yes, there is a layer of visceral fat there. You need testosterone to break up that fat and as you get older you have less testosterone, but doing compound exercises helps get your larger muscles producing testosterone. That is the hardest and last place to loose fat because there isn’t a lot of blood vessels there and you really need to be very strict on your diet so you “cut up” your physique. I’m not worried about doing that. That bit of tummy fat is fine for me and I have a little on my back as well but little elsewhere. So yeah, it is definitely harder to lose tummy fat as you age, but you can still get a good strong core. Thx for watching. And good luck pushing me in the river. I’m quite nimble with good balance and a few years of scrapping behind me 😂
@@okidoke4822 Just shows how little I know and simply assume. Mental strength is 10 times more important than anything else. Quitting at the first obstacle is so much easier. I just can't convince myself I want it bad enough. What I mainly find admirable about You is You seem to almost enjoy doing the hard yards. No short cuts - even when you unwell still do something productive. Thank You for comprehensive answer. And if I ever see you on the river , I'll just save a second or two and just jump straight in.
@@mohammednovalija lol, you're alright man. Regarding "no short cuts", I guess you only cheat yourself in the end. I try to do things the best I can (doesn't mean it's the best way it can be done though) and I guess I'm pretty resilient, but having said that, at the moment I really struggling with some shoulder and wrist pain. I've tried nursing it a bit over the past few weeks, but I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and see someone about it. Dammit. Body pain affects your mental health too, or it does me anyway, so best to sort it out so you can get back to doing what you need to. Also, as far as wanting it bad enough, well, even though I might be struggling to foresee much of a future, I'm at least doing my best to avoid one where I'm relying on others to get me through the day. I'd rather die being active that decaying in a bed.
@@okidoke4822 Not advice , but shoulder pain can take some weeks to get better. Possible a slight over stretch can undo all the healing up to now. It's annoying not to know what caused the injury , and even not knowing exactly what the injury is. I do wish You good fortune in discovering someone that can assist with easing your painful areas.
@ thx I’ve had bad shoulders before but they still puzzle me. I thought I was being careful.
All that amazing work and I doubt I could do a single one rep of any of those exercises. But I could not help noticing your tummy poke through under your T-Shirt and not even close to a 6 pack. After all your hard work , aren't you devastated not seeing a 6 pack forming ? Or does it take much longer and you are aware of that. ?
Okay, well, actually my Abs are pretty good, but I do have a little layer of fat across them, but I’m not worried about that. I’m not interested in getting “cut” and that does take some extra work and certain eating that I’m not interested in. My main reason for ab work was to help my back condition, which it has alleviated greatly, so I’m glad about that. I’m pretty happy with my fitness and physical health. The main thing, especially at my age, is to be consistently active and no let yourself go to ruin. I could barely do a sit-up when I started, but now I can do many reps of various ab exercises. Having a good strong core is essential. You can do it too. Start small and build up.
@@okidoke4822 when I was 48 I blew out to 76 kilos and in 12 months of calorie counting I dropped to 56 kilos. And without any abwork , I sort of started to have a 6 pack. Maybe your diet needs just a minor tweak and you would look as good as you feel. But then again , this tape is at 40 days and your abs are great these days. My goal is to be able to do 20 pushups , but at the moment I am nowhere near committed. Life keeps throwing obstacles at me. PLUS I'm LAZY.
@@mohammednovalija I’m 5’7” and blew out to 85kgs. When I counted calories and was very strict on my food intake and crazy with exercise, I got down to 66kgs, but when I settled to a reasonable diet and a steadier workout regimen, I’ve leveled out to a steady 73kgs for many months now. I find that most comfortable. I still have mental health challenges but I’m happy with my physique and fitness level. I try not to play to my vanity or ego, just trying to get by one day at a time. Fitness is a distraction I use, which then benefits my other distractions. I don’t stress too much about my diet, but I don’t abuse it really. I feel lazy at times, and that’s where it’s the most challenging, but I force myself. It’s too easy to do nothing and let yourself down. And I know ALL about obstacles my friend.
I played with a heavy bag once. The bag won by a TKO halfway through the 1st round.
lol, yep, ya gotta keep on your toes
@@okidoke4822 I cannot do a single pushup on my toes , but I can do 20 on my knees ( just ) I seen you did pushups with a band across your back. What do you think of knee pushups with a backpack with a brick or 2 in it to get me closer to say 10. I did struggle to do 2 full pushups recently but that is too rare to start full pushups
Thanks for the video. Enjoy your no nonsense descriptive style.
Appreciate that. Thanks for watching.

I would expect that to be the case. Thanks for watching.
Obviously the pronunciation has changed over the last 30.years or so. Keep up the good videos. Always good watching camping vids relatively local to me.
Yeah I dunno man. Personally I originally was calling it "Langy Gearin" before I saw the info on it. Thanks again for watching.
I lived down that way over 30 years ago. Us locals call it "Langy Gee Rang" Not what your saying. But good video.
I'm only going by what it says on the sign as the pronunciation being "lar-ne-jeering". Sometimes locals don't always say things right either ;) Actually, those girls I came across are locals also, and they pronounced it like I did without me even prompting them. I'm no expert of course, just going by what it indicates. I appreciate you watching. :)
Thanks for your videos, much appreciated.
You're very welcome. Glad you enjoyed it.
Another informative video..thxs..👍😁
You're very welcome. Feel free to share it.
Wish I had the center stand for my Speedy!
Some days I wish I still had my Speedy 🙂
