I’d suggest getting a used iPhone 13 Pro, or a used Xiaomi 13 Pro; otherwise, the Poco seems to be a better deal for the general experience compared to the regular 13.

When Apple, Inc. introduced their iPad mini 6th generation, I took my wife to our local Apple retail store to compare both the iPad mini 5th generation with the newer 6th generation model and, we both preferred the older 5th generation. Yet whenever, I ask my wife for her half of the money she, just gets quiet and never writes me a check (smile...smile).

Five seconds into your review I enjoyed your style and humor.
I think 80$ Is pretty much in Special for the condition and iCloud lock... Will buy one today in very good condition (no scratches, no dents) for just 40€ (whats more of less the same in US $)... Has just 16gb but as Second device still more then enough but who wants to use it for productivity i think 32 or 64gb would be better and just cost some $ more... I would recommend to look for an 32gb model cuz those was the last Apple has pruduced so they will have mostly the best batteries...

I used the Coconut Battery app on macOS. You can also use 3uTools on Windows.

Great video! What did you write in the iCloud removal request email? I got scammed when I got my iPad 6th generation, it was sold as unlocked but it has the same unable to activate error you show in the video. It’s bypassed right now but I can’t update it. Could you help?
I believe that my success is just luck, since Apple only accepts removal request for devices that are more than 12-15 years in age. More information on this: iPads come in Cellular and Wi-Fi only models. While Apple checks for iCloud status based on the device’s SN (serial number) and IMEI, the Wi-Fi iPads only need to get their SN checked as they don’t have an IMEI number (because they don’t use SIM cards). Older iPads, iPhones and iPods released prior to the A12 Bionic chip have an exploit that allows the SN to be changed; therefore, you can fully remove the SN that’s marked as iCloud locked on Apple’s servers and replace it with a clean one. For my case, my locked iPad is a Wi-Fi model that has had its SN previously changed to an iPad 3’s SN, which model was already considered obsolete by Apple. That’s why I was able to succeed in getting a request approval. For your 2018 iPad, making a request is definitely not possible. Check for your iPad model (whether there is a huge plastic bar at the top of the back side). If it’s a Cellular model (has a plastic antenna), you can try using Broque Ramdisk Tool to “Bypass Hello Screen”, which allows for updates but keep in mind that setting a lockscreen password requires you to bypass it with a computer again when restarting (A10 Fusion chip limitations). However, if it’s a Wi-Fi model, the previous method will also work but I would suggest getting a DCSD cable to change the SN. The software that comes with the cable should guide you through the process, and you can get a clean SN by going on marketplace listings of iPads that show their Software Info in the pictures, steal the numbers and validate those online 😁 Either way, hope that you can get yours unlocked. Good luck.
By the way, the “Unable to Activate” screen indicates that your iPad was previously bypassed with a software method. Restoring it in iTunes should send it back to the “iCloud Locked” screen.
@@Anhn21 Thank you for a really descriptive and helpful reply. The thing is, this iPad is currently 100% bypassed. I paid a guy less than 5$ to unlock it and it’s working flawlessly, my only issue is that it’s on iPadOS 16 and I’m definitely craving the few features iPadOS 17 has to offer. Now I can go back to the same guy and pay him the same amount of money to update it to the latest firmware however what’s the issue with trying to get it unlocked from apple. By the way mine is Wi-Fi only and the replaced SN belongs to an iPhone 4s.
@@hassanvurt I see, your issue is probably due to a mismatch in the SN to the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth addresses, considering that it’s from an iPhone. Try asking the guy for a full SN, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Address rewrite with values from a Wi-Fi iPad, then yours should update just fine. Some really old iCloud bypass methods (most likely before the checkm8 exploit was released) require a placebo SN to be written so that the tool can permit the device’s activation. I think that this is likely the case of your iPad.

I still use one. Works well (until I dropped it on its corner). Repair was not great (done in Singapore). Display etc works well.
