Miami beat the crap out of Florida on the road when Gainesville is one of the hardest places to play while USC beat the #13 team in the country in a neutral site in Vegas by only 7 not to mention Miami was higher then USC to start the week don’t see them jumping them with all the hype on Miami if USC pounded LSU I’d say put them over Miami and if it was up to me I would probably put USC ahead but I don’t think the AP top 25 will do the same so that’s why I predicted that

@@HolyBucketsYT Really sounds stupid to say that after 1 week of football. Notre Dame bet a Texas A&M team that wasn't good. I get that they were ranked 20th but that's clearly because of the SEC hype and I'm saying that. I'm all SEC but I knew Texas A &M wasn't good. Notre Dame has for about a decade has been there but can't win anything. So yes I know they are talented as always but they don't deserve to jump any this week. Maybe move up a spot because Oregon should fall and that's it

oh man I didn’t see it after Verlander gave up the 2 runs in the 5th I got so frustrated I turned the game off and started watching a movie with my mom

In this video I did mention I liked him and thought he was good but thought there was just to much depth on this roster for him to make and that was 100 percent true injuries were a big reason he made this roster not saying he didn’t deserve it cause he played amazing the injuries just helped his case but back in april if I knew that Andrew Beck would get injured and even though I knew a lot about brooks but the one thing I didn’t know was how good of a blocker he is so if I knew that and knew that Beck would go down I would have said he makes the roster but unfortunately I didn’t know those things and when you make predictions sports sometimes you have a big swing and a miss or you just hit out the park I would say this prediction of mine was right of the middle those 2

Waller didnt do anything last year the Barkley loss really hurts but they gotta a very solid replacement in Devin Xavier is a huge loss but making additions like Malik Nabers and Brian Burns is what improves this team but they will still be bad

You need to get some facts straight respectfully it was not a home game where Chas did well it was a road game in Philly also Chas was not DFAd he was option and last thing is Jake Meyers is not going anywhere he is our best defensive player outside of Peña alps Jake has been better at the plate recently 11 for his last 49 with a homer and 5 RBIs I know that is solid but you compare that to the stretch Jake had where he was absolutely terrible 11 for 49 ain’t bad

I believe in him as well with the way his last at bat went that can motivate him to wake up in the minors

The leads your talking about are small leads so that a baseball team are bound to lose from time to time like last night up 2-0 and KC scores 3 runs that’s not a huge lead for the Astros and they come back and win 6-3 again Monday in Philly up 2-0 is not a huge lead when on the road against a good team same thing goes for Saturday up 2-0 against Baltimore on the road against a great team blowing a 5-2 lead in Baltimore was bad but again road game against a great team outside of some small comebacks against really good teams the Astros have not had a lot of trouble keeping bigger leads larger then 2 run lead in the last month

I honestly wouldn’t say he outplayed him by a long shot Jordan had issues in the run game just like Pierce did only averaging 2.5 yards per carry on 21 carries the only reason I think he played better was because Jordan was very effective in the pass game I’m not gonna defend Pierce cause he was bad but he barely got enough playing time in preseason he only had 8 carries and no receptions it’s hard to compare someone who has 8 carries to someone who had 21

To be honest Akers, Mixon, Brooks, Jordan are the best shots the rest didn't look to good . I'd put Brooks or Jordan at #1RB . But if Jordan's injured definitely Brooks followed by Akers. Just me what do I know anyway.

I hope with Chas going to AAA he can wake up and make a bounce back if that happened this lineup is much more dangerous but Jason is a great addition

He was cut because multiple players were coming back from injured list Betts Chris Taylor and Muncy when Taylor came back they had to clear a roster spot the funny thing is Taylor is batting less then .120 this season

Chas isn’t really gone he will get optioned and they will dfa someone like Cooper Hummel it would be stupid to dfa Chas and get him off the 40 man when there are guys like Nick Hernandez and Cooper Hummel who are way more not useful then Chas is I’d be shocked if Chas is DFAd I think he’s just gonna be optioned

@houstonsportstalk yes. Our league plays keepers round 10-15. Picked up McCarthy to keep him next year so I dropped him and grabbed cook incase he signs.

Trust me I think Mitch is mid im gonna say a lot of good things about him but the bills definitely did make the good decision going with Mitch instead of Anthony you need a backup who has experience as a starter while Brown only has one start and it was a 2 years ago they have a starting Qb that takes a lot of hits do to running more so if we don’t want to see it happen there is still a chance that he could get hurt and if he did you want a starter that has experience and not just experience but experience with this offense

what are you talking about I know the Astros have been way better recently but this video was on august 5th after a brutal extra innings loss to the rangers things were brutal for 8 games as they went 2-6 in could not even hit 5 hits every game it was brutal mean while the pitching was killing it for the Astros they lost all those games cause they couldn’t hit pitching was not a problem wanna remind you when this video was made the Astros were 57-55 and the offense looked the worst it had looked all season while the pitching probably looked the best it had looked all year they were really reasons to be concerned with the way they were playing terrible while mariners were winning some games and building a lead on the Astros it got to 2 or 2.5 game lead any Astros fan will tell you things on the offensive side we’re slowly putting our season in jeopardy but then they woke up and our now 12-4 in their last 16 games I mentioned in this video with the way the pitching has been if the offense just woke up they would be fine and the 8 game stretch were the Astros went 2-6 they probably win every single game in that stretch If the bats backed up what their pitching did like they have been doing in the last 16 games please tell me what I just said in this reply that is incorrect

well it has not been that long so some people might have that reaction my grandfather had the same reaction and with so many pitchers injured maybe some just assumed he was injured to idk

it was 2 RBIs not 3 but a walk with the 2 hits and RBIs so great start to his Astros career he did go 0 for 2 today but no strike outs so thats good if you ask me 2 for 5 with a walk and 2 RBIs and only striking out once is better then this years Chas

jake has actually been way better at the plate recently 7 for his last 23 which batting average is over 300 with 1 homer and 4 RBIs so can’t complain about jake rn but Chas has just been terrible and for right now would rather see Ben then Chas until Kyle comes back
