Easy to install - seems like DIY compatible. With so many color options it is also very flexible for the residential usage!
This sound proofing for ceiling DOES NOT WORK. I have affixed their system on my ceiling, but there is still noise from above neighbours. Their customer service failed to even respond to my enquiry. Save your money, do not waste on this product !
Was there any difference between before and now(even a slight one)? What type of noise - walking, talking, music?
@@ancientbehemoth6448 i really cant notice any difference. the type of noise is people walking/stomping from above. i hoped it would at LEAST reduce to 30% or 40%, but still there isnt much of a change. im just disappointed that this company failed to reply to my email enquiry. the ceiling drop is about 6 centimetres.
@@richardteo6365 people walking has like 1-2 hz freq. Very hard to isolate that if not impossible.
@@richardteo6365 Did you realize the cover layer with Knauf Silentboard?
@@maxihoyer2666 even if he does use knauf silentboard He needs a membrane between mute and the silentboard. Even so, not much improvement. Even a decoupled ceilling won't help much with mineral 2 knauf and a membrane. If the boise is too much from stomping.... CUT your loses and MOVE out. Rent the apartment and get a new one, preferably last floor or a house. The ONLY way to escape impact noise. This is the truth. Produxts and system to isolate that boise will barely do much unless you build another room all walls and ceilling decoupled inside the main one, which is crazy expensive, time consuming, and space eating.
