Is it mandatory to construct a plane "normal" to the 45 deg axis? On the newer training block, the angled bore already has a plane on the outer surface. This one does not.

Hello Jim. Thank you for the videos. I have been training with the exact same plastic hexagon training part on your screen. I could really use your help learning how to probe the 45 degree angled bore in the far right bottom corner of the part. I call up my A45B90 probe angle, I choose the Z+ workplane, My clearance cube is good, I set up my auto circle.... The probe doesn't go where I want.

So for the rotate feature (line), the line is going in the xplus (left to right on the x axis) but on the Y face, Hence the reason why the Line is Rotated to Xplus, but on the Y face??? Also, isn’t the line is on the Yminus axis, so shouldn’t the origin axis be on the Yminus instead of Yplus??? Plz lmk
