I love grits with butter and cheese. I also like a cheese grit casserole that my mom used to make when I was a kid! You’re right - all of us in the south eat grits. In fact sometimes I will make a bowl of cheese grits for an easy dinner.

I’ve never heard of Bacon Up, but I’m glad to know about it! And you’re right. It’s been so difficult to find good tomatoes this summer. I got some good ones at a small farmers market up in Tennessee in July. They were so flavorful.

Hello Mamaw Joy:) I just want you to know that I sympathize with your phone troubles. I also want you to know that sometimes you just need to reboot modern electronics. In your phone’s case, that just means turning it completely off for about 30 sec. And then back on again. You may also want to check to see if your phone has any updates that need to be done. I’m a bit surprised the sales lady at Apple? I’m assuming it’s an IPhone? Didn’t suggest these things to you. When your phone doesn’t scroll, it mean your screen is frozen and often times it has to do with a need to reboot it or do an update. Let me know if either of those work for you. I will also be praying for your dear grandson. Jordan? Was that his name. And that you have a good visit with your other grands while their parents are away. I just discovered your channel Mamaw Joy and I just want to say how much I enjoyed this content. A turnip at the Whole Foods store brought me to you. I’ve never had a turnip before and I’m in my mid 50s! lol!! I subscribed and liked this video. Looking forward to checking out the rest of your channel. I was stung as a small child on my inner thigh while just standing there minding my own beeswax lol I think it may have been a wasp though. Now I just give them a wide berth. And I’m ok with that. I do know that honey bees are a very important part of our life cycle. There’s another word but it escapes me at the moment. So I’ll just go with life cycle.
