5 to 55 minutes of walking videos, explorations, Kayaking and events in West Michigan.
I lost interest in watching TV during the pandemic; I found myself walking more and watching videos of people walking around in other cities. I followed suit and started filming my walks with my 35mm digital still camera on a counterweight stabilizer.

Join me in walking around downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan on a busy Saturday. In this episode our primary camera: A Canon 1DX finally failed. Disassembly later reveals this was caused by a failure of the Top Cover Assembly, a part no longer available from Canon. This will likely be the last episode on the channel until I find another low mileage 1DX for under $500.

We view the Market Avenue SW site, set for development of a 21,000 seat amphitheater on the Grand River. We launch from below the Blue Pedestrian bridge and paddle downriver to the Kent Trails Grand River Bridge.

We cross the Grand River and walk the Heart-side district's restaurant patios. We end walking south as the sun sets behind the freeway.

Thank you for this video.... as someone who lives in GR I used to go to Artprize all the time. But I'm a lot more disabled nowadays and I just can't do that much walking anymore. It is nice to be able to see some of it through your lens.

DEVIN, how does Artprize this year compare to pre-pandemic? I'm possibly going, but I don't want to be disappointed compared to previous years.
It's about the same, there were a lot less entries but I'm enjoying that there is less to try and see :-P Definitely less big outdoor entries this year compared to the past
