I'm 70, and bought the album when it came out at age 14 for its cover. Then spent the rest of the day and into the early hours of the next day on repeat. Still among the best.

(In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida as I know it, has a skip immediately before the drum solo caused by dropping the needle on the same spot over decades, so this one sounded odd)

I grew up with this song. It was/is my dad's (now 80 yo) all time favourite. This is the first time I actually hear it on volume < 12 🤪and I'm 54 yo... I don't even know what other songs are there on the other side of the record🤣 FUN FACT; This song was originally called "In the Garden of Eden"......but the singer was to stoned at the time to pronounce it correctly....😂

Inolvidable... Era 1968-69 cuando escuchaba el LP 38 rpm que ponian mis hermanos en la consola, yo tenia 9 años y ya apreciaba esa batería y quería ser baterista, ahora sólo toco la guitarra 🤣🤣. Recuerdo que veia está canción en mi TV Philips (blanco y negro) obvio y de bulbos, recuerdan ? jajaja pasaba el video de esta canción. Creo que esta cancion fué muy adelantada a sus tiempos, en cuanto las ejecuciones de los instrumentos y el gran requinto muy rockero. Ahora tengo 64 años y sigo disfrutando esta buena cancion. My wife and I saw them open for Jefferson Airplane back in 68 at Aaron Russo's Kinetic Playground in Chicago. They set the organ on fire and the crowd passed an replacement hand over hand to the stage. Oh Yeah! Those were the daze baby!!

This song is the disc jockeys best friend. I'd put on the full version and I had time to go to the bathroom, get a beer, say hi to friends, and still have time to cue up the next song.
