@@fuelbastiNio do not have a 120kWh battery. It was definitely a 150kW WeLion semi solid state. It was live streamed here in China and it is all over the NIO App for my Nio car

Well at the premiere of the ET9 Li talked and showed a 120kw battery with new and bigger cells...the 150 real solid state is only still a plan for 2025. But maybe they drove a prototype here??@@yaouyu

I am not really impressed. I drive a Model Y Long Range since 2022 and i have about 60000km already all done in Europe. The car has a 75kW battery and I get easy 450 km driving 90km / h and 350 - 370 km on highway summer. So yeah...Equip my Model Y with 150kW battery...I will drive it 90km/h and I can tell you that I will beat Nio's numbers...so for those that are not on EV probably it is a wow factor...Nio droppe from 55USD to the current 7- 8 USD / share...I know coz I i vested a lot....but this news wont push back the stock up....Good luck

Still I think the company deserve a lot of respect and appreciation for its impressive R&D effort if you look at the latest NIO day> I agree it won't push the stock back up, I think the sub-brand will do the job. Good luck.

So what？Nio is a winter test, tem is -2c, and the battery energy dense almost twice then tesla, that means the nio 150kwh battery weight almost equal tesla 75kwh battery, Li said if speed is 110km, the car still has 900km range.

This Nio ET7 with 150kwh battery is bigger and heavier than Model Y, so that's a win for Nio.

I have the ES6 and love it, I am in. Nio foreign owners chat group in China and all the guys with the ES8 love it. I understand the ES8 is available in Germany but as the EL8 (Audi complained about use of S8)

Seems only available in Norway! Also looks like they only do a 6 seater version now. While third row seats look OK for adults if also need to travel with luggage it really becomes a 5 seater at best and probably a 4 seater

Jupp, the speed is a big factor. If they drove very slow (12 hours for 870 km is slow, Björn Neyland needs around 10hrs for 1000km WITH charging in a Tesla) , than the range is no surprise or no break through.
