So for anyone referencing this video which is probably the best in terms of clear videoing of the various parts in the door. Right at the 3min mark you bring attention to the the “arm” on the door handle which regularly should be pulling on the door latch to allow for proper unlocking of the door, what many people fail to recognize is is that the reason most of these door handles fail in the first place is because when the handles were made they once had a plastic bushing around the arm pin making the arm thicker for less distance to travel in the hook lack that it rides in . once upon a time it had a white plastic surround which increased its diameter which allowed for quicker engagement contact with the latch. If you rally wish to perfect the door handle then you must actually remove it before it break eventually again lol sorry to tel you bud. Since by this time almost every e36 I’ve owned or worked on has the same common issue with the door handles this arm overtime deteriorated and the plastic spacer shell that was around the arms pin broke off and it isn’t really talked about since 99% of the guys never knew it was there to begin with! A quick easy remedy solution I have been doing for a number of years is get yourself some silicone nitro rc fuel tubing. Cut yourself a small piece just large enough to cover the arm pin and you were prolong the life of the replacement door handles and hopefully never repeat the repair a second time. Without that bushing I’m afraid to tell you guys that it’s only a matter of time for your replacement to break once more! Now if anyone needs handles hitme up😊

Super useful video, the fabric fell off of my sunroof panel the other day. Your tutorial on how to remove and install is excatly what I needed to have the confidence to do it. This is similar to an e38 moon roof removal but the alignment is easier looking on the e36.

Wasn't the carpet my man. It's your cabin filter under your dash. So change the cabin filter out which it is called and do deep clean in the interior but your main problem is the cabin filter. Good luck

For the leak did you check the sun roofs drainage system if it’s clogged water will build up and spill into the car sun roofs don’t Seal perfectly so if they can’t drain the water just builds up till it starts to pore into your interior

You should have used an ozone machine of some kind I’ve seen other RUclipsrs use it to completely get rid of bad smells in mouldy cars but be careful and let the car air out afterwards in fact research how to use it safely
