The greatest joy of this piano-addicted woman is sharing MUSIC with others who might need to be cheered up, people who need a little help to make it through a hard time, or music lovers who just need a quiet moment away from a busy life. I pray that Jesus will use my music to let everyone know that they are loved and precious. Stay and listen. I hope you will find comfort if you are struggling, or just a little entertainment in the middle of your day if you are doing well.

This uplifting piece has been recorded at a quicker tempo (as marked in the music) and at a slower tempo which feels like a warm spring evening. It seems to flutter like a butterfly, and luckily I had a close encounter with a pretty critter on the Mock Orange bushes this week.

The words to this bittersweet song of remembrance were written by James Hogg & Lady Carolina Nairne. This simple piano arrangement by Phillip Keveren is haunting and fun to play. It brings back memories of our Grampa Charlie who grew up in Scotland and immigrated to Canada as a very young man.

Words and music by Mia Fieldes, Eddie Hoagland and Jonathan Smith. This praise song was part of a worship service with the graduating class of 2024 in Souris, Manitoba on June 18th. The tune has been playing in my mind for days, which I take as a sign that it is meant to be the next video for my RUclips channel. God bless the wonderful young adults who are graduating this year!

Ten years ago this month my sister and I took our husbands to hear QUEEN & ADAM LAMBERT in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada 🇨🇦. This was my favourite song! Adam Lambert was fantastic!

Irving Berlin wrote this love song 💕 for his wife, Ellin, in 1925, the year before they were married. The blooming trees this spring were especially beautiful and seemed the perfect pairing for this song!🌳🌳🌳

This epic song by Tom Odell was requested by my piano student, Nikola, who is currently learning to play it and wanted to hear what the arrangement she purchased sounded like. I was privileged to meet William Cross (1926-2019) in Yorkton, Saskatchewan at a Canadian National Conservatory of Music event called “Summer Sizzle”. Many of my generation will remember our parents playing this song on their record players. My dad still has his record collection! This is a joyful piece that reminds me to be grateful for nature and the small things in life that bring us happiness.
