Hi Prettany, thanks for your reply and lovely message. It’s great to hear your recommendation on Port Antonio as that is where I will stay when I come to Jamaica. I have booked a holiday home 200 m from the Errol Flynn harbour. From the research I have done there are plenty of restaurants and Cafes to eat at around the harbour area. I do you plan to travel around the east coast and take in the sites. From 7 to 10 November there is a Food & Drink festival in Kingston that I’ll be attending before I travel over to Port Antonio. I worked as a pastry chef for over 40 years so anything to do with food is my passion. I’m really looking forward to trying lots of new foods and experimenting with Flavours. ​@@travelwithprettanylooks the same...I dont remember the gazebo thing and....I don't remember the lizards. I used to snorkel around the Cay as my favourite thing to do. I'd spearfish lobster. I'd spend 90% of my time snorkeling. Great memories!

You're not wrong on the price bc 5 nights is 882 here compared to the others, 1k & better. And that's us prices. But I heard the food was not pleasant. I don't plan on eating much, but I heard it was very average and bland bummer. Still might book though I'm there for the experience....

So you are adding to my point that Jamaica health care system is not as bad as the US claims then ? My point regarding Jamaican health care is specialized care such as rare health conditions like some cancers we don’t typically have doctors for.

Yes, that's the point. Specialty areas and certain types of equipment are very limited Jamaica but as for as the most common illnesses, Jamaica have good doctors who can tend to your basic care. I must say though, we are way behind technologically when it comes to patient records, prescription ordering and tracking, lab work etc. In the US, I have access to my lab results, X-Ray, MRI via my phone app or online. I can send messages directly to my doctor, do video care On-demand, request a prescription refill, schedule appointments, view and print my entire medical history without the need to call the doctors office and so many other things which makes your patient experience so much better.

The US have more shooting than anywhere else, and there talking about traveling advisory
