Aye TMC do have you feeling like you in the wrong hood lol …I be wanting to start ish like yooo waddup you good foo 😅
It was awesome chopping it up with at the Petro in Effingham today bro. Keep up the good content
@@Thomas20Smith No doubt bro. Stay safe out there.
@ you too bro 👍🏽
I am glad you resolved the problem! My son and I have our applications in for Maverick. We will be going through the CDL class, hopefully together. We have railroaded together, worked barges on the Mississippi, and Ohio rivers, and now we are going to try flat bed trucking together!
Funny story..I used to work for maverick early in my career right. I was delivering to the university of mississippi and I couldn’t figure out how to get to the work site. I back then thought I could go where buses could go and followed one of the buses. 😂 when I got down there and saw I couldn’t get out I ran up all on their grass and took out the entire row of those yellow concrete curb stoppers, ripped off the door on the trailer where the canvas tarp was and didn’t stop. Campus police had to chase me down and pulled me over in a field. Got me for leaving the scene and everything. That was the last time I worked for them 😂😂. Up until that I enjoyed working there though. Good folks back then anyway
Did you delete my comment off your last video?
no, what did you say
@@aaronmelson2887I think RUclips is deleting my comment I’ll have to get with you a different way
o.g. when you get tired of otr try doing oversized works i used to deliver roof trusses locally that really keeps you on your toes and test your skills pulling 63ft flat bed trailers and maneuvering... Like with all things management made the job harder than is should've been but it was fun not bumping docks all day and never going to the same place twice always a new location... p.s. ask the forklift operator to put the tarps up top... Be safe out there💯💯
I also drive a double axle kalmar ottawa but our truck only has 2 steps to get in and out and its a workout, I never knew they made them with three steps.
I drove a single axle Kalmar, and someone came in the middle of the night and stole it and total it out. They brought us another new one with doble tank and doble step both sides
some of the ones at other sites had 2 steps too.
When I use to do that job , I was always talking to myself lol
Steal it😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🔥
Transformers look like a nice load. The tarp job on the lumber looks decent. I doubt they’d fire anyone who is willing to keep trying. Keep your head up.
I appreciate you showing us the whole journey. Keep your chin up.
Keep at it. It will better and you will get faster too. I work for Maverick as well and ran as across your video. Go off duty when you waiting for a load. You want to save as much of that 70 as possible. Also that PC comes in handy for times like that when you out of hours. After you get your permanaet FM ask about turning on your split. IT WILL HELP WHEN WAITING LIKE THAT.
My whole experience with training has been great! I didnt have my cdl so went through MDA, All my instructors are very dedicated! Intest for my cdl teusday. If anyone is thinking of coming to Maverick i think its definitely its worth it!
You will get faster and better at it give ot time man
Appointment dont mean shit at these places man
Walmart/Home Depot/ Lowe’s for the step ladder 🪜
I start with Maverick this Sunday! I’m looking forward to it

Dam OTR ain’t worth it.
Yeh buddy tht tarp take sum getn use too fr... it gets better tho bro keep a positive mindset
Why is there no sound.
@@KennethSpencer-c1v no music
Aye you tarp that mf good tho 💯 Salute!
Appreciate the effort. 💯
You’ll get better at it. Stay strong. I realize it ain’t easy.
Yeah if someone ever hit your mirror while leaving or backing in it’s most likely going to be at a pilot or flying J ☹️
Sad
Great content brother ✊ keep em coming
How heavy is the stuff they have lifting and how many times?
Hang in there bud flatbed is just another style of trucking.. Just need more time to learn how to be more efficient.. I'll give you a little secret most don't know for easer success.. You need to show your company that customers on your top priority while being safe with hard work then Maverick automatically will reward you with best loads and routes and great home time .. so go ahead and show them you can do it and you can be your own boss and a company driver and through any request at them they will do it for you... Remember customer service dictates your rankings in the company
Really enjoyed the video. Keep up the good work.
Looking good. It'll come with practice. Watch Trucker Dan for tips.
Bro US Express on the family dollar account got a $1700 week guarantee.
Flat bedding is just like anything else your trying to master. After you do it a while you’ll become more efficient. I appreciate you taking the extra time to video it.
I was not expecting you doing flatbed great move To be safer and more efficient for unloading coils.. once finished unsecure while you still on trailer place all chains binders edge protectors bungees on sides away from load where you can reach with your feet on ground after unloading then use one of coil boards to push or fish the remaining coil racks and mats to trailer sides for easy reach.. Best of luck
Hey man good to see you at Maverick. I have been a subscriber since you were at landstar. Ive been at Maverick going on 5 years and was a road trainer before going IC route. You ever see truck number 3670 and you ha e questions ask away. I never mind helping out new folks that wanna learn and be successful. Good luck and remember its gonna be rough for about 6 months but one morning youll wake up and nothing will ever seem as hard as it was ever again. Be patient and communicate and youll be fine.
@@richardgriffin4663 i appreciate that bro
O.G. how you liking them super single drive tires everybody hates them n those rear facing cameras are sick💯💯..,, I used to hate using binders cause I was in a roll back and the securement points were a pain in the ass but once i got back on flatbed the binders were a breeze
singles are ok. this the first company i work at that has em so i have yet to see how they perform in winter
Can we get a truck tour? I know it's not much, but I'm sure every companies truck is different.
Maybe it's my phone. But your video seems really dark, like the lighting is really dark
nah its the video. i exported on a wrong setting. it should be corrected by day 4 video.
Need to say more talk more during your videos because people like that otherwise they will probably stop watching and move on just a suggestion
O.G. Just a heads up the videos look a bit dark on our end...when you editing see if you could brighten up the final version... stay safe out there💪🏾💪🏾
I know, i accidently exported on the wrong setting. it won't be fixed until about day 4 video. sorry.
How does Maverick compare to Landstar overall, (off-the-record)
i wasn't at landstar long enough to compare but I am a company driver now while landstar is mostly o/o.
I’m the guy who spoke to you at the truck stop other day . Stay safe out there driva .
no doubt, it was good seeing and speaking to you brother
There a guy flip his truck on the side of the hill and crash it be careful with the coils ( ron partt this his channel)
What is like training for experience driver but no flatbed experience bro? How long is it to be with trainer??
@@b_moneygo4515 you dont go out with a trainer. as soon as u done with orientation and securement training, they hand u keys to a truck and throw yo ass out on your own. thats what they did with me
@aaronmelson2887 appreciate reply brother man.
@@aaronmelson2887they’ll give you your own truck with driving experience but no flatbed experience?
@@aaronmelson2887you don’t have to train and stay on the truck with one of the company’s drivers? I prefer that if you ask me.
mavericc is solid for a starter flatbed company i never heard anything bad.
Hey bro the video is dark for some reason not a lot of light
Glad to see you back OG. Good luck to you.
Yo what camera you using to record?
canon r8
Yo, that road has a "come back" effect on you once you step your foot in the water. Good Luck, looking forward to your videos....
Congrats my G, good luck.
O.G. back again💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💯💯💯
