I really like your approach to producing the video. Good commentary enhanced by important banner notes. Great camera angles and lighting. I felt completely prepared to do the job, and in fact it went very smoothly. Well done, and thanks!
THANK YOU!!!! This video literally just saved the day!!!
Can you tell me what buttons you pushed for the diagnostic test? TIA. :)
Thank you for showing me how to test those valves !! My parents have that very machine, and your guidance gave me the confidence to do that same job 🎉
Can't hear the battery number thats all I need and I can't hear it. All I heard was bought this at walmart and 32.
Great video. Shown and explained perfectly!
Thank you so much! Super easy to remove and replace. Working like a champ now! 🙏🏼
Where can you get the replacement valve these days? Thx
Sears Parts Direct website? Appliance parts websites?
@@jumbojoe55 thanks, can you also give me the part number so I can do the search? my challenge is that I'm not in the US. TIA
Thank you brother🙏🏾
Hi Joseph I am getting exactly the same symptom as BillBennettASC described below. So just to be clear, we only need to replace new CCU board (the top) not the MCU bottom board. Please confirm and thank you
My issue was the CCU. I changed it twice. First time was a refurbished CCU and then my washer went dead later on and I replaced with a new CCU. The MCU was not my issue. I purchased it and I had to exchange it for a CCU.
Thank you, Brother. Great video. Crisp, to the point, nothing more, nothing less. Love it. Saved me tons of grief. Appreciate it !!!

From the bottom of my heart thank you Sir, your video was much better than many 4k videos that teaches you nothing, I learned from your video, thanks again 😎
They told me I have 500 dollar to the part
Wow!
No need to get the key reprogrammed, correct?
No key reprogramming required.
@@jumbojoe55 thank you
From one Joe to another, great video, good narration and very good camera work. You showed the important things clearly. Your clarification regarding the wiring attachment is really helpful. I'm sure I would have spent time looking for tabs on the connections. I had precisely the same symptom, clean water in the tub after the equipment had been idle for a week. I suspected an inlet leak, but you did all the heavy lifting to diagnose and address the issue, all I have to do is follow your steps. Thanks!
Thank you so much for this video!
You are the man! Thank you for taking the time to share the knowledge. Outstanding video.
Wait so basically just use your fob to press on the start button rather then your own finger and it will start even without the battery ?
G Bear I think so...it’s been a while since I tried. I believe it is so you have the ability to get home.
✔️☆ I'm in love this video. You wanna be friends with me ? * ✋
Thank you, Joseph. Excellent video. And you are the only one that mentions the type of key FOB replacement battery we need. I hope you have other videos that show how to get in the car using the mechanical key so we are not stuck somewhere in the middle of the night without knowing how to get into the car and get somewhere safely. Also how to start the car once I get in it if the key FOB is dead. I found them elsewhere, so now I am good. Thank you again. Keep making more excellent, informative videos.
Thank you for this video! Is there a trick to getting those wires out of the water valve? I'm having such a hard time!
Megan Peterson I just lifted the tab and yanked. But I agree, I always have a hard time, especially on cars.
Can anyone help me with part number of valve?
21elgansito You should be able to pull up part numbers with your model # at Sears Parts Direct or Repair Clinic websites.
Dude cuckoo's best exploded at the end when it's done
always missing the point seriously
Perfect! I keep extra batteries in the glove box so if fob dies while I’m traveling, I have a spare.
Thank you so much for making. You really saved me.
This was helpful thank you
*The installation through amazon was a breeze!➣>**allmy.tips/KenmoreTWasher?yy** This washing machine has a huge capacity and takes the same amount of space as my old machine that had half the capacity. It runs super quiet and does a great job! Only downside is the lid lock which takes longer than we would like to turn off.*
How do you open the trunk when battery is dead?
Does the bottom on the dashboard work without battery power?
Glove box has a manual override button. Easy to find.
Thank you sooooo much. You saved me. you're the BEST.
This was not useful at all!! Just open the drain Cap and clean it then plug back up and Jackpot! No more f11 code!$$$$😁🤔😉
Can you show Me how please .?
Yes it works. I took off the water intake outlet clean it, back in business. Save lot money.
I had this same problem 4 months ago. Cleaned the drain plug and fixed the issue. I went away for 2 months and 1st time starting up got the F11 again . Gonna try to clean the drain again.
I had this exact same problem: I was getting the F-11 Code when the washer first started filling the water, and before the drum started turning, in a regular washing cycle. When I ran the diagnostic test, I would get the F-11 code at the C:03 step, and the drum would not move. I ordered a new Motor Control Unit (MCU) and swapped it out as this person did, and the washer works properly now.
Joe, why not do continuity test on the new valve to see if it was in the range suggested?
Good suggestion, I'm sure you could save yourself some trouble and work if you found out your new part is bad. I guess I was tired of working on it because I already changed the circuit board and this issue came up. So it never occurred to me that the new part could be bad. My research was pointing me to mineral buildup as the cause of a leaky valve.
Cool, thanks!
Do you happen to recall the specific part numbers you ordered?
Jeremy Spector No, sorry, I don't remember. I know they can be retrieved with your model or serial number at Sears Parts Direct's website or repairclinic.com. I wish I bought my circuit board brand new.
Thanks for the awesome video, perfect...switched mine out in minutes. Thanks!
Success!!!
Thanks for the video! I'm having trouble with the diverter, but your's was the first video I could find that showed how to open the top of the machine.
Thanks it really helped me out :)
Thanks for taking the time bro. Great video quality!!! lol Changing mine this afternoon. Love this car.
I have the same washer model. Mine is showing an "H F " code. I looked it up and it said that it is a water pressure or sensor. The washer is detecting low water pressure. I made sure the valves are all the way on...no kinks in the hose....nothing to stop water flow. Do you remember what code your washer gave when you needed to change out valve?
sless milani Mine did not give a code for my water valve. It was leaking and filling up my washer when I was not using it.
+sless milani I did not get a code for the water valve. I changed it because it seemed like it was not closing fully and allowing water to drip into my wash tub. After a couple of days, my wash tub would fill up from the leaking water.
I ended up fixing mine, however it seems to be temporary, almost like the valve is getting shut back off or tightened . I'm wondering if the washing machine is shaking it loose or something. Anyway, at least it's working right now for the most part.😊 Thank you for the your video, because it did help me to understand that it was water pressure💧
wonderful thanks
Thanks dude!!! you did for me! that was smooth and awesome
how long has the sealer lasted so far any yellowing?
I don't keep track, but I redo it when it yellows. Maybe once-a- season or less in mild San Francisco weather.
I have the same washer and was able to fix it because of your video! Thanks so much :)
Simply great job, much thanks, hope I will fix mine too with no problem, after viewing this:)
You did a great job on this video! Your step by step was easy to follow. Fixed my washer at a great savings. Thanks.
Thank-you SO much for your step-by-step video. It was VERY helpful in getting my washer back running again. Thanks Again!
This was extremely helpful. I sincerely appreciate the detailed walk through and simple explanation. Made the job so easy! Thank you.
