Good video mate.
can you do the same on prado j150 with air bag suspension?
Used your tutorial to replace my filter thank you it was very helpfull in addition the water alarm switch was faulty and had to change the canister. Price from Mazda $400 plus $80 for the filter. I googled the ford part number and got a genuine replacement from China delivered to my door took a week $55 and it already had a filter in it.
Legend. One of the best tutorials for anything that I've ever watched. Saving this for future reference.
Ripper video Brendan concise easy step by step guide well done thank you.
Have juat done mine but it doesnt seem to be priming the fuel have done it exaxtly the same and still wont start
Plug prob no connected
awesome
Grate vid much thanks
Mate how many microns is the filter please?
Awesome explanation!
Hey bloke, when it's closed, does it fill with water like the Darche does?
That was made to look pretty easy. I wasn’t confident at all before watching your excellent explanation. Thanks for the information.
G'day mate.. Who did you say sells them in WA?
NOT freestanding! must use poles and ropes.. on freestanding on setup n packup
Thanks for that, I really enjoyed your tutoring
Crap review don't bother watching
So many patrols
Good set up so far the problem with putting your solar panel on the roof permanently more often than not you don’t set up in direct sunlight you look for a bit of shade so that’s when a mobile position panel works well as you lay it out in the sun and not your whole camp looking forward to the next video I am just starting same set up and was worried about my gull wing door going up to high but if that’s the case I’ll shorten the struts
how did you wire up the baintech battery from the redarc then your power from battery to accessory block
It works .. it works good . Doesn't add Horsepower or torque, however with the idrive you release the full torque curve of the vehicle , you wouldn't feel without the idrive. Driving around town in ultimate mode I keep it adjusted 2-3
Actually the shackles lifted 1.5” im wrong?
good bro thanks
Is that won’t affect the performance?j
Hi Brendan. First time for me nice awning. Just one comment. Could you slow your camera movement down a little. The swirl movement is going to get some watchers seasick. Good luck with it
I had my ute tub internal plus top edges and rope rails done by Xtreme Coatings in Brisbane over 10 years ago. It has worn extremely well. I am very happy with it. It has carried lots of firewood, rubbish loads and camping gear. Nothing slides around in it not to mention boots walking all over it and the tub edges climbing in and out. I would definitely get it done again if I get another ute.
Hey mate, good set up you’ve got with the Ute and canopy 👌🏻👌🏻 just curious as to how many amps you’ve seen the panels putting into the Baintech? Cheers
Great vid. How are the panels holding after a few months of use?
I got the same panels; it's been almost 12 months for me. One of the solar panel's legs came off! I couldn't refit because the screws are flat-head riveted. I expected them to be more sturdy for almost a $500 unit and 'outback proof' (as they advertise). I see other users had a similar issue with the legs (they commented on the product reviews). Emailed KickAss Support; let's see what they say.
@@holyparikrama I ended up getting the Hark Korr ones a while back and they have been really great.
Greetings from UK, Great video, must be good fixin up your truck in shorts & bare feet, with our climate here your more likely to need a few layers & boots🥶
Great clip have the same brand myself even done a clip on my RUclips channel cheers 👍
Crap review. Don't waste your time unless you like looking up some random dude's nose. Very little info on the awning.
Helpful feedback! I hope my nose is the highlight of your day :)
@@offroadaddiction1042 Highlight? Not really. But, you know, lockdown, what else am I going to do?
Thanks! this is the best detailed guide on how to change this filter.
Great video! Actually getting in there and showing what you did made it really useful
Well done great explanation
Did the rear 2" lift shackles today and am attacking the 2" front spacers tomorrow. Your video helps.
Nice dude! Glad I can help!!
Great video thanks for the information and how to. Keep them coming cheers
Hey mate just put shackle in the back made my leafs sit flat, and now when I put weight in the back bends around on itself, did u have this issue?
Hey mate! Nope I didn’t have any issues and still don’t to this day! Definitely does flatten out a little as there is more pressure but not that bad
Justin you might need to upgrade your leaf springs
I’m a 55-year-old man, when I was your age I did not have any of the knowledge you have, keep the good work up I actually wish you were my son good on you.(this was talk to text had to edit it sorry)🙄
Lots and lots of hours in the shed tinkering and learning! Appreciate the love mate!
How thick were the coil spacers you put on the front? Do they equate to 1:1 height difference, 25mm spacer = 25mm lift?
Correct mate! 50mm spacer is what I put in ✌🏽
@@offroadaddiction1042 the ratio in most pick ups is 1:2 height.. That means 25mm spacers lift the car about 50mm
25 mm spacers give you 50 mm of lift so you got 100 mm of lift bro ?@offroadaddiction1042
Hi mate, how much there were lift on front?
2” or 50mm
@@offroadaddiction1042 thx
Awesome mud puddles guys. Girls from Tassie. 🙂😀😀
Great video mate how did the car feel after the lift
No real change in comfort to be honest! It was surprising
@@offroadaddiction1042 would you recommend it, I’m looking at something like this for my bt50
I recommend it as a temporary solution (6-12 months)
11.7volts 😏 bit of a concern tho ahah
Yeahhhhhhh. About that 😂
@@offroadaddiction1042 ahahahaha, hope its an easy fix 👌
Go rhino rack pioneer platform, mine is so fkn handy with all the mountings etc..
Nice awning but your camera work is making me sea sick
Yeahhhhhh. Just trying to tickle all senses 😅
Nice one Breno!👌
Cheers Gonz!
Surely giveaway
Hey mate. What did the final ride comfort end up being like with this install? Noticeable difference for better or worse?
An answer to this question would be nice
Answer
Sorry for making you all wait so long for an answer! The after ride was OK. Definitely not a good as it was, found it a bit more rigid in the back end, the front felt okay too but the shocks blew out after 6 months of hard 4wding, I now have Dobinsons 3” MMR Remote res shocks / springs in the front which are a unreal a year in. And most recently I have changed the whole rear leaf pack out for Old man Emu 300kg with all greasable pins etc as I now have a completely different rear end setup!
Coil spacers and shackles are just for aesthetics really. It's okay if you spend most of your time driving on paved roads or in urban areas. If you have an older truck that you used for 4WDing, these will wreak havoc if you use them on stock suspension . Best thing to do if you want to lift is either set aside a decent budget for a new suspension kit, or just get bigger wheels.
seafty man be your ovn devil
Are u stone or just nervosly. naiz video
Love the vids man 🤙
