Yup, this one always generates a lot of laughter in our class! Our class rule is "No one makes a mistake!" We just keep moving, catch up if we can, and laugh out loud when it gets really bad. 😂 I'm glad you enjoyed the dance - thank you for taking the time to send me a smile! 😉

@@jacklaulainen8457 Hmmmmm... Well, the copyright would knock this one out for us. Our class is considered a "broadcast" and we have to pay licensing fees for the songs we use, and we only use songs that fall under certain licensers. Well, this isn't an "official" dance, Sharon -- I find music I like for my classes, and then just move with the music! We do a few dances that are popular and "real" -- but most of the dances on my channel are original. I hope you still like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🤗

@@matandch As you dance on your left foot, your partner will mirror you on her right foot. The best way to learn this, if you are not familiar with ballroom dancing, might be to begin with the Box Step. As you practice that step, the mirroring of your moves will become natural. Then you can take it to the next step and spin around as you Box! 😊 You will find a tutorial on the Box Step in the Learn section of the Moving with Music channel. Have fun!!!
@@movingwithmusic I’m familiar with ballroom dancing. We take informal classes as a retirement activity at a nearby retirement community here in Leesburg Florida. I did notice in your video that you stepped off as the leader if you were partnered.

Thank you, chu Chu. I had never danced before joining this class as a student 9 years ago, and was always going the wrong direction for the first 3 months... but things have gotten better! 😅 The movement helps to keep my stiffness under control. It truly is good, gentle exercise.

I remember doing this dance in PE class back in the early 70's. I couldn't remember the steps but I remember it being great fun. Thank you for the smiles.
