A dermatologist can suggest you according to your skin type. I can only tell the difference. Retinol is more beneficial for long term but also crucial in start, I mean sometimes cause irritation so start with lower concentration. Also sunscreen is must while using retinol as it make skin more sensitive. Whereas caffeine reduce puffiness and increase blood circulation and tightens skin but not make long term impact.
