I have not played the NTSC-J version, but from my experience NTSC timings are always the same, it's just the PAL version that is different. Really great game, often undervalued I think. Let me know if you beat me! Thank you! 🙂

It plays great - really fun. There is a slightly annoying warping/bending animation on the cars by default that you would see if playing from outside the car; Thankfully you can turn it off in the options though - the graphics are great otherwise - packed with charm. So many gems out there, and you can never get enough of the 32bit era, lol. Absolutely worth checking out if you like these sorts of games.

The tank can shoot the rival cars (press horn to fire) blowing them sky high into retirement, pretty funny for a sim type game, lol. You unlock it by completing the championship (or typing in a cheat code) which is pretty difficult due to how easy it is to lose traction in the game - the other cars can bump you like mad. Nice to see the developers had a sense of humor though with the secret stuff.

It was made by the guys that now make the Gran Turismo games. This was just before the first GT, so a bit of a change up for the next game, lol, but you can see a little bit of the DNA in the driving model in this - it plays really well for a kart game. I love the older games as well, they have more personality and charm - you know you are playing a game (and a secret to many... this is where the fun is, lol). 🙂

I think it was probably because it was unremarkable in comparison to the leaders. It is fast for me, but not to them, lol. I think the current fastest time is around a second faster than this, pretty incredible really.

Yeah, the competition is really high with this game. 44 something is still really fast. Top 10,000 out of 40 million or more that have played it is not bad at all :)

I would not be the biggest bike fan but it is still a decent game. You probably want to use an analogue controller to get the most from it. Yeah, there are two to unlock in it, Horse and Horse 2. Horse 2 has the baby horse running behind it, really cute, lol. 😊
