That is one possible strategy and are you thinking specific for this hand. For me I bet big and bet with a lot of bluffs, this works particularly well on zoom because people are more willing to give up their hand. I do need to balance my range more but checking here gives up control of the pot because an ace is here it's more likely for him to have a hand, however he may simply check back with a marginal hand or bet twice small and then check on the river. By betting big here I take advantage of my greater range in this position, opening up the chance to bluff often and to gain three barrels of sizeable amounts and potential gain all the money but getting him all in on the river potentially with Ax hands depending on the player or two pair and lower sets.
