Clay Bricks vs Concrete Bricks - The Challenge | Forterra
what's with the mortarless brick wall ??
gretat video!
Cool projekt . What's the name of the grill ?? Link Pless . Thanks from Denmark
Writing a fantasy story. This context on how ancient people learned to make brick is SO COOL
Give this to Chinese man and he will build better bbq without using many tools in less than half the time.
How about the air flow inside??I built one identical with this and the meat is dry....no circulation of air 😢
I'm clay brick supplier in India and im happy to see the positivity in clay 🧱
Is it feasible to use 'Clay' between the Concrete or Clay Bricks...🤔⁉️ Thanks~ 💯‼️💯
Is there an easy way to make sure you have a 10 mm gap between the bricks?
Yeah this comes across as a gimmicky advertisement not a intelligent breakdown of features
How do u get the clay bricks to look like concrete bricks
Paint it
We are manufacturer and supplier of handmade clay bricks Contact me for more information
Excellent work . Very nice indeed . Thank You .
Hello, are the plans for this particular grill available ?
When are they going to invest in a measuring system😂😂😂
😂
I was hoping to see the difference in terms of resistence.. not people's opinions of how they feel.. i just lost time
Is this an old steel plant building in England?

Beautiful grill
They don’t tell you the part where Craig had absolutely no involvements with the lads when he was actually there it’s all for the cameras. Would like to add that you cut my part out too pal. They also got absolutely cock rubbed by the college to do this and we’re given free food for coming yet they couldn’t even give that to their own students who were in the competition 🤣
How many bricks would something like this use?
Mr. Craig Phillips, my name is Michael. Where can I purchase a good barbecue kit from? And about how big is your grid that you're using here?
Nice. Now lets see it being demolished immediately after footage of complete project was taken :D
Magnificent industry on a heroic scale, showing how mankind's great endeavours can overcome the fatal attractions of laziness, fear, and despondency, if there is the will to do so. A simple, straightforward narration teaching the viewer how it was made, rather than the orchestral dramas, should have been so much better.
empire state building………brick???
Another thing what they forget to mention is how the clay brick are made can determine how long it last. For instance if u make clay bricks using modern techniques than the clay brick will be brittle and weak against strong forces. While using traditional techniques makes the bricks last longer. Here is the modern method which makes clay bricks weak. 1, They leave the bricks out in the sun to dry up which makes the clay break down due to weather. 2, They use a brick squeezer which removes all the water from the brick making its bond weak. Traditional Brick making is better coz u cook the brick in an oven making the brick denser like when u make clay plates which are harder and stronger than silicon clay plates.
No, modern bricks are also fired
Thankyou for explaining, I remember long ago someone selling us sun cured bricks, was horribly fragile
Exciting 🤣🤣🤣
Strange how someone goes and does sth before your eyes and then shortly after tells you what he has just done...
the best videos i have ever seen 🧌
???
Update of te factory?
Your video is very beautiful. I like it a lot. I have been trying to talk to you for a long time. I am waiting for your response. Please give me a chance to talk to you. I am a professional digital marketer and RUclips marketing expert. I can help you.

Looking good,
But only tested 2 types of fixings 🤔🤔🤔
These piano background tunes always depress me
Decent guy 👍🏻
Thank god I’m out of it for good
never heard such shite....not nowadays anyway !
Nice vedio
Boy, did you miss the best part of light pre-cast beams, that being wires protruding out the top of each beam. If your beams had for example a 12G wire protruding out the top of the beam every 2" and your foam fell 2.5" higher than the beam top, you would have a cold joint at near the neutral axis, and a beam 4.5" taller, effectively doubling it's span or said in another way, cutting cost by half. ruclips.net/video/T6D6362lZrk/видео.html. Your beam is too fat. I know that lateral stability is hard to gain when beams are narrow, but an exaggerated lower flange would have solved that issue. The lighter the beam the less manpower needed on site, no need for a crane after delivery, the simpler alterations in plans can be put in place and the lower the costs overall. While we are talking about wire protruding from your beams, how do you attach sheet goods on the bottom of your assembly? If you had 10G steel wire sticking out from the bottom at 16" and 24" centers it would be possible to wrap those wires around lath and the screws into the lath from the rock would bind the wire tight by pinching it between the lath and rock. (go around twice). Walla! the lowest cost elevated slab on earth and the lightest as well. Have patent in Philippines.build prototype in 2011
no mention of how it was discovered ...good one
Ivan Olsen I’m guessing it was the quarrying wot found it .
yes strange...
I'm an archeologist for wessex archaeology - become the quarrying was done the quarry diggers would have been required as part of the planning permission to check for any archaeology. First there would have been a series of trenches spread across the future quarry. Some of these would have found the bronze age settlement. They then did a full scale excavation of them. The quarrying focused on where there wasn't archaeology to ruin, they also started the process years ahead of where they were digging. I had a similar thing happen at Datchet were we found a neolithic house and a giant ring of short ditches around it with lots of pottery and animals bones within it.
Come on man don't be racist that's a pretty good job
The woman need to say at home and look after the kids or the west will fall due to mass immigration!!
So ur saying we shouldn’t be earning money , women do need to work to have a house and pay all the bills
Where is this?
