Hi @TheGuySensei 👋 ! We have a foldable laundry rack that makes it a lot easier to lay flat. Plus helps with space (we live in an apartment now too). At some points if I remember I kind of shake it off so that it stays fluffy but it's totally not necessary. A few weeks ago we actually did a tumble dry and it still worked out fine! @@lifeontheregular Sofa wise i have a heavy, furry, lined throw on top of me & a thin fleece throw on the sofa itself, so the heat comes thru nicely. And a furry lined throw over my duvet. It's going to be -10 degrees this week in the UK & fuel prices are thru the roof !

@@lifeontheregular Yes! This week, after half an hour on setting no. 3 (highest setting) it stays warm for a good 2 hours, then I drift off to sleep , listening to a horror audio book. Best £20 I ever spent on Amazon. . 😁

They are definitely good for that! We often use it while I'm on my PC in the colder months especially since the arm rests get pretty cold and stuff. We still love ours to death! We even wore them to our surprise couples' shower! No one expected us to walk in to a fancy party wearing them 🤣 -Erik

Hi Alexander! There's definitely no harm in doing that! The only thing I'd recommend is checking the fine print on the fabric softener/detergent to make sure that it's approved for wool/silk. That usually indicates that it's very mild, which is recommended for these oodies! Keep us updated on how it goes! - Erik

Hey Tom! Honestly it will probably depend on where you're located. If you're just looking to not turn the heat up (as much) then it might work! But I definitely wouldn't drop the heat to minimum settings in hopes of replacing it with the oodie! Just kind of think of it (literally) as a wearable blanket! We have that same situation in our city! Our summers can get very harsh, so we don't normally find a use for them during those seasons. But you'll definitely get the most of them during the colder months! Let us know how you like yours! -Erik

Just some follow-up information for you, I'm currently sitting in a very bulky office chair with bulky armrests (it's an obnoxious gaming chair that I got a few years back), and I just tried to slip into my oodie while sitting down. Here's what I found: 1) It's overly big/awkward (in my opinion) since the sweater is big by nature, it won't really be much difference. Basically you'll just have a giant pile of hoodie-blanket on you :) 2) So that it doesn't pile up between your back and the backrest, I'd suggest pulling on either side of your body to keep it taut on your back and have the excess fabric come off the sides. So you're not affecting your sitting position. 3) Due to the sitting position, I find that you'll only be able to put it just over your knees. If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask! -Erik

Thanks. I'm 5ft5 but on the chunky side. Don't think I'd want to be pulling it over the chair as I have a high chair back with handles but that's a good idea for those with low chair backs. I think you're right with a bit of shimmying around it could fit better. Or even putting on before getting in the chair maybe. I'm not on for Vlogging but would be great if someone in a similar situation as me could review the oodie.

I took the plunge and bought 1 as I saw they have a 30 day refund if I needed it. It fits fine, just requires a little tucking so it doesn't get dirtied by the wheels. And easily covers my knees.

Hi Joshua! I'm about 157cm so the regular/normal size fits great for me :) I like that there's an elastic cuff so if I need to roll up my sleeves to do something, it's not too bad. Also - what a great husband getting your wife one! It's SO comfy and we're just about to whip it out again since it's getting pretty cold in Vancouver. Hope that helps :) - Chia

Hey Beth! I would highly recommend let it air-out outside! You sometimes get that same smell from mattresses and blankets! Washing it definitely gets it out! Don't forget to consult the washing instructions though! :) - Erik
