Google is Losing Marketshare, Fast - What This Means for Private Practice Marketing?
In October, it was published that Google had a 83.54% dominance on all online search.
Since then, a lot has changed.
OpenAI launched ChatGPT Search - their first attempt at competing with Google, which has supposedly won them 8% of extra search in less than 45 days
The Department of Justice has said that Google should be forced to sell Chrome to remove their monopoly on search, with it valued at an estimated $20 billion.
Microsoft (ChatGPT’s biggest financial backer) are in line to be one of the only buyers of Chrome at this "fire-sale" price.
The entire dynamics of online search could be set to change. 🤯

I really appreciate your efforts! I have a quick question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
Great content! Your guess list have been 10/10 so far.
Thank you 🙂
So, do I unterstand it right, that you say that the solution awarded target group, is the group with the biggest potential?
Hey there! Business of Hearing is an incredible resource for private practice hearing care clinics-your insights on practice growth and overcoming big competitor challenges are spot on! I’d love to help you take your channel to the next level by optimizing your titles, descriptions, tags, hashtags, and off-page SEO. I can also handle full channel nurturing and promote your videos on social media for more views and subscribers. Let’s kick off with one video as a test-I’m confident it’ll make a difference!
I have used true hearing aids for over 15 years. And yes it was my family that kicked me in the butt to get tested. Keep at it with your dad but don't rely on cheap simple amplifiers. Make sure he is tested to know how to tune the units to match the type of hearing loss that he is experiencing. When I started I really wanted to use the Hearing Aids as my "earphones" as well as hearing assisting tools but the solutions were very limited and very expensive. For the last 3 years my HA's act as air pods with any sound that comes from the iPhone now coming directly to my HA's but other sounds TV, computer , etc. requiring a separate device to provide connection. This is really Apple's fault because they do no accept incoming Bluetooth for retransmission to Air Pod or HA. Finally, I think everyone (especially men) that have come through the era of very loud music should be tested for hearing damage as they get older. Starting Medicare has several required screening, hearing testing should be one of these tests. Of course, I believe testing earlier would be worthwhile.
Absolutely agree!
Battery life: you confirm they only last 4 hours currently. Battery tech and Bluetooth tech are not going to yield a 300% increase in battery life in a single generation. Don't buy a product because it MIGHT do something a year or two. Wearing headphones socially: You didn't really show that people WILL wear them socially. Having "headphones in" whilst people are talking is considered rude, hence why hearing aids are discrete. Air pod tech won't compete with hearing aid tech: you agree with us here. In the same way that an iPhone doesn't compete with solo GPS locators, or SatPhones, or health sensors or DLSR Cameras . They include simplified versions of those products, but they don't compete with solo devices. AirPods are not hearing aids, they are ear phones. If your father in law invests in AirPods to learn about how effectively hearing aids could help, then that's GREAT! But then he'll need to invest in REAL hearing aids. So why waste £200 on that first step?
4 hours is enough for a lot of people, when the case cab recharge them in 20 minutes... Most of us have that opportunity to spare 20 mins without them in over a 4 hour period. My son, a millennial, and a few of his friends already constantly have an ear phone in...they DO wear them socially already and it will soon be socially acceptable for more people. If they worked as a hearing aid I would have no qualms about wearing them, even if I did need to explain to people that it is for hearing reasons to start with. Current Airpods may not be hearing aids or discrete... but as the video said, the next gen Airpods are the ones going to be designed for the feature. They may be simplified version, but in the same way Apple Maps is a "good enough" Sat Nav, Airpods will be "good enough" for a lot of us. As a regular Airpods user, the £200 is not wasted whether they are used as a hearing aid or not, so why wouldn't you use them as a first step? It is definitely a feature I have been waiting for as I am pretty sure I have some minor hearing issues, trying to find an Audiologist I trust (e.g. not Boots / Specsavers) is far from easy, and from what I can tell will not be cheap plus the significant cost of the hearing aid on top. I would much prefer starting with my already paid for phone and paying for an upgrade to me version 1 Airpods... the downside for me being the original Airpod Pros not being supported. They aren't going to be a short term replacement for all hearing aids, but I think the point of the video is that they will have an impact on hearing test and hearing aid sales. Some of that impact may be positive... if Apple tells me I have a significant issue, then I will be getting a professional test, but it is going to take some selling to persuade me a hearing aid is better than the Airpods if they are felt necessary.
@@ovimir9667 I guess time will tell which of us gets vindication. Being optimistic about the tech is nice, but we'd need a multi-generational leap to achieve useable results. Here's 1 single issue I foresee: The battery charges in 20 minutes, great, now I have to remove my hearing aids for an hour a day, putting 3 full cycles on the battery every day, so in 100 days you can expect that battery to have about 85% of it's original capacity. In a single year of use, you will have put a minimum of 6 years of "ordinary" stress on the airpods battery, so you might have 40-50% of the max battery capacity. After 1 year, that's 1-2 hours of use with a 20 minute charge in between. So every year (if not every 8 months) you'd need to buy a new set of AirPods to maintain the same battery life. At £250 a pop, that's a FANTASTIC deal for Apple. I hope this helps you to understand my position a bit more. I'd love to know your thoughts after reading this.
I'm on your team. I also agree that AirPods will be good news for the hearing care industry ... but highlighting the real risks/concerns of what this COULD be is important :-)
To be fair there is no such Nobel Prize of Rconomics. The Nobel prizes are: Medicine/Physiology, Physics, Chemistry, Literature, and Peace. A Bank got jealous and funds a prize "in memory" of Nobel and people push this narrative to overblow it's importance

In Alaska, door handles are illegal and door knobs must be used. Why? Because of bears. Think about it...
I thought about it. It was very scary.
I feel such a knob for not knowing this
The interfaces are designed by people who use this sort of thing all day and every day. Once they have been designed, I suspect they have hardly any assessment by anybody other than similar people.
This was so informative. Really got me thinking. I love the idea of an Adoption Plan and Monthly service plans for when their package comes to an end.
The assumption that the NHS wants to provide more healthcare seems ridiculous
Love the performance update type of appointment idea! Had 2 phone calls today for that exact need.
Amazing! Imagine how many more you would have if it was clearly packaged and articulated through your site ;-)
Cool
'you don't look at the price of them when bundled that you do when you buy individually' yes i do. i know that the cost to put bluetooth in a car is about $5, and that charging multiple hundreds of dollars for it is highway robbery, cause they are robbing you due to your desire to use the highway.

For years I've remembered this guy in Vegas that sold me an $80 cigar lighter that I told him I didn't want but I bought it and it's been damn good. I'm now a guy who signs people up for timeshare presentations in Vegas and I think about that guy every day 😂
This sounds like a really good concept to me.
Sounds good but testing & fitting hearing aids can take 2 hours
This part of the conversation was in context to over-the-counter hearing aids in the US :-)

Well, there used to be walk in healthcare including GP appointments. There are still some walk in services. Covid testing was done as walk in - by the army, set up in various locations - very successful.
Also lots of other professions use appointments quite successfully
This is really interesting - Rory's natural curiosity drives him to offer his thoughts on a different industry in response to the challenges presented. Partly from his context - how would he buy this product, how would it help him - but also from years of theory and experience in his own industry.
This guy is a hack

Super Niche - but quality stuff!
No matter how niche, there'll always be a trains analogy that demystifies any challenge 😆 He's as charming in person as he is online
I’m shocked at how few views this has considering it’s Rory, and (continually and consistently) surprised at Rory’s willingness to have talks with such low-subscriber channels. All the best to you both!
Absolutely! He's incredible This interview was from last year where he joined our Book Club - we ordered 70 copies of Alchemy for our staff and clients, which we collectively studied, and he agreed to do this interview to apply his brilliance to the challenges we're looking to solve!
