Thanks for your question! All the same rules apply in the reverse situation. 1. clarify in your mind your needs 2. Think about the benefits to the employee in accomplishing the goals 3. Start by talking in terms of those benefits to the employee 4. State your request....perhaps even ask a question at the end to engage them in the process. Hope that helps!
