Last night I spent a couple hours figuring out the song by watching the groups live acoustic performance at the Hollywood Bowl in 2016 on their RUclips channel, getting a sense of the chords and the chorus first. I’m excited to continue working on it, it’s been a while since I last played for as long as I had the last couple nights and my fingers are feeling it ! They’re a bit swollen and blist...

I don’t sing anywhere close to as often I use to. Not professionally anymore. The rustiness was frustrating for me however I do miss singing and strumming. This piece has been a favourite of mine since 2008 when I first heard it boarding the plane first class to Palm Springs Christmas Eve. In my early teens I discovered Dido and she’s forever been an idol of mine.
