I've been playing no map. In Ashlands now. So much better. Def9ently recommend. Like the poster said, your brain adjusts. Sailing can be a pain as fog and storms can be brutal. When's ailing in a storm, you go much faster than you expect and can easily get lost. Excellent tips. Persoally I made several smalls bases in each Biome. Best to leave them and build agian. Don't move bases. AND protect your bed and spawn points at all costs.

Thanks, this helped me understand this puzzle. I thought left mouse button and right mouse button did different things, but I guess not. Also, some fractals have 2 or more points that looks very similar to the solution.

I place tons of way posts inside islands to mark important routes, and signs at the coasts so if I get totally lost on the ocean, I can look at the nearest sign and will have a good idea where I ended up. I will try your trick with the oak trees.

I still don't get it, but apparently, I can solve the puzzle with your method even without understanding it, cheers.

NOOOOOOO BROOOO I've been doing this for a long time.... Why tell youtube that could be connected to the devs ( Good vid by the way. But You know the damascus ingot, I found it easier earning money off of it cause its more expensive towards merchants, I think 29K for 999 Damascus ingots).

This works for every material and allows infinite glass, damascus, steel, and copper DO THIS METHOD!!!!

Just reached the mistlands in my no-map run. Yikes, this is going to take longer than the rest of the biomes combined I think. I've already gotten lost for days, gone in circles unknowingly, but wow it's been an adventure. It's interesting to see how you approached the mistlands so carefully and methodically, where I've kind of now surrendered to running around blind. Your method is clearly the smarter (but more painful?) one.

I used to send kerbals to orbit then deorbit with the jetpack and land them on their heads. 100% survival rate. What a game

I have been playing KSP for many years. It actually helped me get through military training! I never modded KSP and always played it in vanilla version. So, I am very impressed with the way KSP 2 looks, but it needs to work. I have had a hard time with radial decouplers. They typically fall apart on the launch pad.

Started a no map challenge by myself. Here are some other tips that might be useful: -When you search for a Boss, you can use the vegevisir, (the rune stone that would mark the location on the map). When you activate it, the camera will turn to the direction where the boss is. -(like mentioned) You can use the hammer like a compass, just select a build piece and rotate it to the direction you want. Whenever you get lost you can use the hammer and look for the direction you set previously. -When you dig a hole in the ground, you will have a square with straight edges which are always equally orientated (one edge is in north direction, one east etc.). You can use it to get the perfect north direction without a tilt, if you roughly know where north is. Nice tips in this video which i am sure will be useful (i am currently in the mountains), though i think it is random where the boss spawn is and how the dungeons or the surroundings look like. i allready defeated Bonemass but didn't find a single surtling spawn, also my bonemass island had 3 crypts only.
