The 2025 Hyundai Elantra is a minor update over the 2024 model. The most significant changes are to the N Line trim, which gets a more aggressive exterior design and a slight power boost. If you're looking for a reliable and affordable compact sedan, either the 2024 or 2025 Elantra is a good option.

@luongo7886 Thanks so much for watching. In my opinion after Covid the American car brands have taken a leap forward in Design, Tech and Built Quality. And seeing this Lyriq closely in my opinion the fit & finish and attention to details is better(still some room for improvement but they are going in the right direction) Hence this cars should easily last 5 to 7 years without any maintenance issues. Thanks.

@mrvggl thanks for the note, yes with the new 1.6L Turbo engine 231HP with 6speed automatic you will certainly feel more confident with merging and highway overtake driving. With paddle shifter it’s easy to put in to lower gears when in need of more immediate power..

​@@autoreviews24You're talking about Hybrid, which is yes, much more powerful. The original question was in general. And gas powertrain is underpowered. But it's not only Hyundai. Most of brands of this category are much smaller engines then previous years. Manufacturers trying to fool the buyers with lower, better fuel efficiency by reducing the engine power.

​@@Vlad2277 I agree! Manufacturers are reducing engine sizes to improve fuel efficiency, but this often results in less power for gas-only vehicles. It's not just Hyundai; many brands are balancing performance with stricter emissions standards.

I have the Hyundai ‘22 gas powered model year and while it is pretty slow, driving in the highway / merging isn’t that bad tbh you don’t have to press on the accelerator that hard it’ll suffice 👍🏽

@@Vlad2277agreed, better off paying an extra ~$2k to get the hybrid version, for my next car I’ll be getting a PHEV!
