This was fist time in my new redspeed OTK kart with senior rotax max evo engine. Second time in a rotax and in the wet weather driving.

This was my first ever time in a rotax kart, a completely new experience and genre of racing. Alot to learn but i feel off to a strong start.

practice using your brakes, start locking up into corners, dont lift, also get your driving style smooth, dont overcorrect to much have a looser grip on your steering, let the kart correct itself, only steer using the pedals
Yeah mate what im practicing now, was first time in one of these karts so was a massive change and was just mainly about building confidence before i start locking
@@Robbie.Petchey.Racing yeye ofc mate, those were more or less some tips to start, i get the lack of grip cause i mean this time of year it’s like ice out there, i only got into rotax this year. Best tips is just hold the steering wheel looser and the kart will basically correct itself, the steering wheel wants to stay straight and steer with pedals, only use the steering for micro adjustments, other then that looks good out there pal

I think this video should be mandatory for any stag / birthday / public event on how to RACE. Fantastic driving from the 3 of you, room left, fighting and time losses from passes absolutely minimal. A very refreshing change from getting dive-bombed by a random and told it’s your fault because Senna once said something about a gap….

Moons gravitational pull was affecting my kart!!!!! Great race man shame it didn't last the entire time, I just gotta go quicker next time 😅
