We took a trip to @Switchbackmx in Butler, PA to have a first hand experience as a spectator for their arenacross competition. If youu've never heard about arenacross well its a smaller version of supercross where riders get to go head to head doing some tight turns and crazy jumps. Definitely a must see!

We had fun learning about the restoration process at the Steel Wings facility in Ivyland, PA. Seeing all that they have to offer in person was a eye opening experience and one that we'll never forget. They put each project they work on to the highest standards. The Wheels of NYC event in the Brooklyn Navy yard. We don't really have much to say about this event other than it really felt like a movie 😂 You just had to be there but if you weren't don't worry because like always we got you with the after movie. wow looks like your really good at what you do judging by the crazy diverse selection of cars in your shop. what ferrari is that if you dont mind? it kind of looked like my favorite but i saw a little bit of it and it is a full roof car. im a 333sp fan boy. after the f40 i dont believe there are any other ferraris except the pista. ill take a 400i or mondial any day of the week if i cant have a Ruf. lol. cool cool cool shop. cheers
When I was 17 years old back in 1979 my dad bought a 280ZX read 5 speed and I was driving a 65 Dodge Dart three on the tree and sitting in that and driving in eventually changed my world, been hooked on those Z cars forever and then a baby come along, took a 10-year break then had a Honda S2000 for 7 years and then Altima coupe 3.5 6mt for another 6 years now I have a 21 Mustang GT but it all started from those Z cars

Summit Point Motorsport Park in West Virginia
I've had a handful of zx's. My current setup is a cd00a with progressive gearing. Did a spicy afm tune. Step down on the plugs. 123ignition bt programmable distributor, and some black top nismo injectors (4 pintle) also on a cai but the oem boxes actually breathe really well. I would've kept mine if my Auxiliary fan wasn't on the outside. Thermal efficiency, and keeping those coolant Temps at bay really help this car stay in a good afr and ultimate injector pulse width. Keep those ducks in a row and always keep an eye on the plugs these things absolutely rip for being a car from its Era. The Era of floating car couches and so on. This car was still flexing its power capabilities WHILE being epa approved. A task conquered by few if I gotta be honest

One of my favorite corolla's. I can't wait until I find a clean one to build to my liking as well. I've built a few Toyota's in my days but never a 80-83 corolla..
I've got a 1982 that I got 3 years ago. Before I got the car, it was sitting for 20 years with fuel in the tank. After flushing it all out, new pump, rubber lines, and injectors, it ran. I just recently put on a set of 3 into 2 headers, billet fuel rail and a lightly ported manifold from a 1975 280z on it (doesn't have EGR in the casting). After doing that, my car runs so much better than it used to, it must have had a few vaccum and exhaust leaks that I was not aware of beforehand. The stock EFI system can run so much smoother than I ever thought possible when everything is well sealed. I also took the opportunity to paint and polish every engine component that I felt necessary so it looks as good under the hood as the outside.
The 240z's have dried up, so maybe the ZX will finally get the love it has always deserved. I had an '82 and '83 black over tan leather turbo. I miss that car all the time.
