I Love That Brutal Riff!!!
This is the first album I ever bought by Skillet. My roommate in 2001 was a huge fan of theirs and I went to a concert with her to see them. I remember it well because it was the first time i ever prayed out loud with a band at a concert. Afterward, we got to meet them, and i believe John and Korey, I think, was her name? She played the keyboards, they were dating at the time. They told me about this video and told me the inspiration behind it was from The Matrix. This is my first time seeing it, and now I can see it lol.

I was in 9th grade in a Christian metal band and this was one we played constantly. I fell away for 25 yrs and only recently got back in my walk with Christ and this music is witnessing to me all over again all these years later. Praise Jesus for his love and undeserving grace. I remember being a really dark place emotionally and I would listen to this song over and over and honestly, it just made me realize, Hey, no matter what you are going through."
