I have my grandmother’s cake recipe and it calls for hot water so I wanted to investigate if that is a legit ingredient. Obviously it is. The title of the recipe is Best Ever Chocolate Cake. 😊😂

For the fudge, you could use different flavoured condensed milk. I can buy ube or chocolate or pandan and coconut condensed milk at my local Asian shop.

I shop at M&S a few times a week, but I’ve been very disappointed by some of their things especially Tom Kerages products they are just dreadful

Not keen on the halloumi bites yes too expensive by far so easy to do yourself in all honesty. The golden waffles are expensive however its the novely factor with them and lets face it you are not likely to be able to make yourself without a lot of hassle . Reindeer pies are lush its all about the brown butter pastry for me. I know you have really been working hard on your health just be careful re the amount of hot choclate you are having i love love love a hot choclate however i have had to cut down on mug size and only have one with all the works 2 times a week also because i was using milk i noticed it was affecting my digestion .... way too much dairy so i have bought a few of tbe low cal cadbury highlights in Belgian choc mint and orange you just add water so i will see if i can get on with them as a alternative some of the times . Px

M&S Christmas food is stupidly overpriced. When you see the advert with the bite-sized sausages piled up on the plate to hand around to guests…they don’t mention that that would probably be a week’s wages for someone! They are advertising cheese and ham hock scones, haven’t seen them on sale yet but apparently they will retail for seven pounds fifty - for small scones, mind, hardly Greggs-style doorsteps! - which is just ludicrous when you consider what they actually are. They suck you in year after year, don’t they, and people just buy into it “because it’s Christmas…”

Some nice things like the halloumi in blankets & the star waffles ( i dont have a sweet tooth so the chocolate stuff thats ny husband!!) But i do think its overpriced, just my opinion !! I do still want to.pop in even if jusy to have a mooch around

Looks lovely . If only my christmas mug collection would fit on 1 mug tree lol. Dont forget to remove the barcode label on your red and cream tree mug !! H9t ch9c station is exactly as it shpuld be only what you know u will use . I always put red and white candy cane straws on mine and i think i have set out the same ones for 5 years no one uses them but i love how they look .... when r u free to dec out my house ??? Px
