From van life to cottage life
After spending some time in the van it was time for me to take a well-wanted break and retreat to a small cosy cottage. My mission was to make a fire and to do so I was going to need firewood. I really enjoyed my time in the cottage and it was the refresh that I needed to get back into the campervan.

Watching you put these together with everything you used has definately helped me make my decision. I'm going to make my own ! I love this tutorial. I actually have two chairs that I love but they are vinyl fake leather and the coding is wearing off. I have a huge roll of upholstery fabric that was given to me, so why not give it a try?

Do you have to sand or prime the vases first ? Or is the bicarb and paint enough to adhere ?
If the vase is plastic, it can help to give it a sanding, but other materials should be OK. I've never used Primer on any of my vases, but it could potentially help with the plastic vase to give some extra grip.
I want to reupholster a divan, but after watching your video I might hire a professional. Gurl, you made a dissaster. 😢.

No, they weren't noticeable at all. I think the white cushion lining helped to hide them. You could put two layers of the lining if you think it's still showing through with one.
