Alex I also have to say not to be opposite on Wilson take.. 5 games with Murray he only had 1 good game the last one 6-6 95 yards vs sea.. the other 4 games….. 2 games zero catches on 7 attempts.. and 3 of 6 for 34 yards and 4 of 6 for 35 yards.. I agree he has potential and is a well spoken young man.. I like that about him and wish him well and to hopefully not injured again this yr..

I'm looking to see if Cam Thomas, Dante Stills, Kei'trel Clark develop. 2 late round picks by MO, took significant snaps by necessity. This team played more rookies than any other team, right? Was it enough for those 2? And they let the other 3rd round pass rusher go, the kid from Cincinnati? But Thomas stuck around; why? Numbers? Or did they see someone they could develop? He did his duty, took special teams snaps, like Pappoe. Will these guys take another step and amount to anything, even if just a backup? Jon Gaines? This is what all the losses were for, the gutting of the roster. The lack of excitement and splashy FA signings. So we can actually have young depth everywhere, for the first time in a long while.

Greg Doeth yards after catch are most impressive. No one in the wide receiver room has his slippery moves the rest catch and get brought down fast. Not Greg.

If dortch is in the slot mostly forget big numbers the slot doesn’t do good with Murray’s limited sight in that area.. middle is unused

We have one hold over starter on the O line from the previous regime. All the new faces have been selected because they have the capability of running the blocking schemes that Monti envisions. We have the best TE room in Cardinals history. Drew's play calling was very unpredictable. I can stand Kyler running an option. But I never want to see designed runs. I see our offense taking a large step forward this year. We're going to surprise a lot of teams, if we can get after the passer this year. Go Cards ! !

All the good things going with the organization is because of Monti and JG as for Kyler’s early years I blame Keim and Kliff bad coaching and terrible player development. Kyler’s always been competitive and he hates losing.

O line & D line are critical. No other position group can make up for their deficiencies.

I don't listen to the bs criticisms of Kyler. A person had to be blind to not see what happened in 2021 with OL/DHop/ Watt injuries. The OL never played well after injuries hit - they were on the field hobbling. The OL collapse was predictable in the '21 offseason.

But everyone plays video games Kyler Muarry is a great qb and a team leader but yeah your probably right

D line/pass rush matters more than secondary. Look at the top teams with winning records. You know what most of them have in common? A solid d line and pass rush. Take the niners for example. Gold plated d line and pass rush and can get away with an average secondary. Oh the secondary is above average? Maybe they look good because the d line/pass rush made it easy for the secondary.

Without a pass rush CB’s get chewed up and like you have mentioned look at the QBs they face .. you still think the defense will be that high?

They couldn't stop anyone last year, ranked 25th out of 32, but they wanted violent hitters. That's what we will see more. Our top end in the back is strong with our safeties. WR won't be safe catching over the middle. There will be a fight off the line. Passing defense ranked 13th, they could be top 10 this year. Real problem is the line and LB's, ranked last. The line should be able to put more pressure this year. They should be better this year. These coaches did a great job with what they had, it's going to be a better defense overall this year.

Conner had more touches last yr than 2021 and played 2 less games.. only two games in 2021 carried 21 times and one time 20… last yr had a 26…27..25 and 23 carried games.. should drop with help there now..

Although I believe that we have dramatically upgraded the roster. We're probably still 4th in the division. I will be disappointed if Gaines doesn't take over that left guard spot.
