I actually have a dive horn from a sub .my ex father in law was 23 years retired NAVY Chief Petty Officer during Korea and Vietnam he put a Rotary switch on a a/c cord and plug it plugs into any standard house 110 and with go as long as I have it on and insanely loud..lol I got it in the 1990s
The diving alarm is sounded twice to signal a dive and three times for surfacing, and is accompanied by either the announcement "dive, dive" or "surface, surface, surface."
@@rudi_ghuliani three of those awoogas. Normal surfacing doesn't earn the alarm (consider that the boat is probably at periscope-depth before surfacing normally anyway).
Diving is not man your stations. Diving indicates that your about to dive and to ground yourself for the gravitational G force out on your body that submarines cause. When diving in submarines you literally physically change body positions at an angle
**AAHHHHIOOOOOOOOOGAAAAAA**
The one alarm you never, ever, ever want to hear when you're serving aboard a surface warship.
Wonderful sound.
My brother asked, why did he say, "dive dive, dive like count Dracula?"

I'm not sure- they might not be functional anymore. If I go back, I'll ask to see if they can ring them.

What are the terms/ procedures for a crash dive or emergency blow?
@@rudi_ghuliani I would guess something similar to "oh fuck..."

We follow orders or people die, most likely us.
