HTB are hands down the worst lender I’ve ever dealt with. The bridging department not the development loans, but it has been unreal. To the point it seems one of their directors even tried to bury my complaint. I’ll still give this a watch through out of curiosity but my mind is blown that the same organisation has won any award.

There is no rebate for empty commercial properties - when its empty as a Landlord, you will pay the full business rates after 3 months for office/retail units and after 6 months for Industrial

Not heard of John before but some good ideas and he clearly knows his stuff, i cannot see Labour being very good at building houses :) They have no idea on how to even keep landlords like myself in the PRS, most of us are selling up and all the next govt will do is tax us more and make us leave faster..... god knows what the next genaration will do, apart from being rent slaves to the landlords that remain and can charge whatever they wish. The whole housing market is a ponzi scheme, we are importing way too many people to be able to keep up with the demand, every 2 years we are an extra 1.5 million people higher than we were before, how can we build this many houses ! And that does not include the backlog................ If we don't talk about population then the whole discussion is pointless.
