    Correction the matchlock musket was not a cutting edge weapon. It was a firearm

    Can we have more videos on the native people that interacted with De Soto Expedition? History, culture, technology would all be interesting topics. All hearing from descendant communities.... Not just all one sided.

    Hello. Thank you for trying to answer my questions. Has your site ever had an archeological survey done on it? Have their been original indigenous artifacts found there? How about Spanish artifacts? Metal work, beads, textiles?

    Why does the History and Culture page on the De Soto National Memorial website have no information about De Soto's expedition in Florida, only his life beforehand, and no information about any of the impacts on Native Americans discussed in this video?

  • @lusolad
    @lusolad 4 года назад

    Weren't warbows also used by men in De Soto's expedition? Also, could there perhaps be a video made on the weapons and tactics used by the indigenous folks who fought De Soto? I think they were using the bow in warfare and hunting if not also the atlatl? Maybe the sling too? Thank you for trying to keep the history alive. PS Where did you acquire your arquebuses?
