Just Food is the Food, Diaper, and Period Product Bank of Douglas County, Kansas, supplying over 30 partner agencies with fresh produce, dairy products, meat, bread and pantry staples, as well as diapers and period products. Tuesday through Friday, Just Food operates a food pantry out of our main building serving 300-600 families daily. We are a team dedicated to our guiding principles and listening to our shoppers and community to serve the larger needs of our neighbors facing hunger.

In August 2022, Just Food announced that the organization signed a lease agreement to take over the space at 805 Vermont Street in Downtown Lawrence. On Thursday, August 23, 2018, local chefs are hosting a chef’s dinner to support Just Food, The Douglas County Food Bank.
